    Lately I've been working in manufacturing and it's not a surprise at all. It's super easy to think of a company as a monolith, but everything is made by different people. Monday mornings you could have an employee whos experienced and quality minded, Tuesday night its a new guy who hardly knows the machine. The guy whos worked there for years and doesn't care anymore, the manager has to make a call that its not worth remaking 20 things for a small fleck, or the guy who will remake it even if he gets yelled at cause the alignment was bad and it's gonna bug him all day. I've also found it very interesting to learn that there's other stuff that's pretty much out of anyone's control. For example things that UV cure are affected by the weather, so it can behave differently every day. Color shifts tiny amounts day by day, so if part of something is bad we have to pitch it and remake the whole thing to avoid the risk of noticeable color differences when things sit side by side. That said if the product doesn't meet your needs it doesn't meet your needs. My advice to other artists out there is to be as clear and concise as possible, follow template rules they're there for a reason (No bleed hurts my soul every time), and do your best not to shoot the messenger. It's pretty much guaranteed that the person that messed your stuff up is not the one you're talking to. I imagine I look something like my friends who worked as waiters, and now they can't help but stack their dishes at restaurants lol. I definitely didn't think about any of this when I was just coming at it as an artist and wanted to share.

    This is probably your most recent Vograce video so I thought I’d just ask here- Have you ever made a mistake of ordering the wrong size? Because I did and I’m not sure if I can fix it, during the proofs I asked if it was possible to change but I haven’t had a response yet 😭 it’s at least not on one of my charms that would be the most popular, but it doesn’t match the other charm that it’s supposed to go with (original characters)

  • @Tomatoda
    @Tomatoda2 ай бұрын

    Yes. But I didn’t realize the size mistake until I received the product. However, since you caught it during the proof review, I don’t think it went into production yet cuz that would be stupid to start on something that was not approved. Most likely I think they’ll say yes and charge or refund you the difference. It is also peak ordering season so they might be late with the reply

    I separate as much solid colors as possible and with the colors I can’t separate, it goes into a scrap pile to be used for other projects! I usually use the scrap as fillings for beads or other charms.

  • @Tomatoda

    I had to stop watching the moment you said you wipe your hands with Lysol wipes 😭😭😭 what! I really hope you've stopped doing that......they're not meant for the body and should be using glove when using those cleaning products. It's unnecessary to even use those type of wipes for an art project omg. But to wipe your HANDS with it! 😭😭 I really hope no children watching this have done this. It's so bad for your skin.

    pointless review. Ive looked through some of your comments. I dont see anyone requesting this content anywere. I have a sneaking suspicion that no one requested this comparison; you simply wanted to use what you already had and make content that way. Super useless. These brands are not popular whatsoever and, as you said, cannot even be bought easily. Your time would have been better spent reviewing products that people are using. Even if that meant waiting a period of time with no content to obtain the items (possible price issues, waiting to afford, waiting to review, making a better video, whatever.... wouldve been worth the wait).

    Why are you so miserable? People buy different product of resins and it gives an idea what to buy and what not to buy. It also gives an idea what might work for certain people. Just calm down. No need for a whole essay. Is someone paying you to write reviews? If so, sis help a sister out. I want money too😅

    This is honestly quite embarrassing I couldn’t imagine being so idiotic and empty minded. To address your first point, I have witnessed plenty of people around the crafting community ask more successful and respected artist (such as Emily) for suggestions on what products to use. I personally have in-fact wondered what products she would use, especially when it comes to resin products! This would also address your second point, I don’t want to use what everyone else is using I want HER suggestion. For your last point you mentioned doing other content, she has? This video was posted over a year ago, and she has posted multiple videos about multiple other very complex topics that have all involved crafting. Instead of wasting your time, and everyone else’s, just scroll?? This video so obviously was not meant for you. I hope I helped clear everything up, and I hope you find happiness!
