Any difference between gm performance valley cover and summit vc? Gm on back order when I’ve looked to order one
How long did this job take? I also have a L99, did you have to do any special modifications?
L99 will require AFM/DOD delete, a bit more involved than the LS3's.
@@AquadaleSpeedShop Thank you for the reply, I see a kit on TRP that has all of that. Gonna go with a stage 1 cam so I don't have to play with the converter.
How much would a tune on 05 silverado cost
Just depends on whats done, tunes start at $500 and go up from there

I can tell you right now You can't gain crap if your system isn't able to. So if you got some piece of crap 3 cylinder and you think you're going to add 30 horse to it Don't buy it but if you've got a factory sport motor 5.0 or up You can probably do something with it a little
What did you use for gas pedal and carburetor linkage. My 2001 has a cable from stock? I don't think you used cable???

ya but w superchips you can put the stock tune back if you need to go to the dealer for warranty work you can disable the start stop function ford, you can deactivate the running on 4 cyl deal on chevy you can change the rev limit top speed limit tire size shift points etc...

I suggested to Richard holdener he should test your hog a.s.s. cam! I'm very curious! I have a carbarated stock bottom end 5.3 706 heads,headers, holley single plane mid rise, msd ls box, 4:56 gears in my 86 Cutlass drag car. Which one of your cams would you recommend? Looking for a nasty lope that's efficient with no ptv issues, just no pig grunt though haha!

I dont think a tuner is about max hp numbers. It just brought the torque numbers down to a more usable rpm. I myself dont drive my truck at 3500 rpm if i can help it.
For the price just buy an HPTuner MPVi.

Man it has after market brake booster and a whole lotta stuff. Gonna ruing the history of that car if it is a real SS by putting a LS in it.
You gotta fill the fuel bowl up and not just pour gas down the carb!
We been had. That thing has aftermarket wheels and rear disc brakes with bright red calipers. Someone is not telling the whole story. Carbonated big block is a chore? You need to wash your mouth out with soap. Sure everybody is LS happy, but nothing beats a big block car!

Stressing out you make it back down the boulevard during cruise in a big block 4 speed while it's over heating and leaking oil versus contently listening to the cam chop in a LS while comfortably sitting in the AC without a care in the world of overheating, oil pressure dropping, etc. I know which choice the owner went with...

Looks like it will be much more appreciated and driven with a LS set up. I chunked my carbureted crap for LS years ago and you can't pay me to go back to it. That leaky, temperamental, big block produced around 350hp. My stock block 5.3 LS with just a cam produces 370hp and fires up the second I turn the key.

So let's let it sit and rot for 10 more years... or throw an LS & T56 in it to start with the turn of a key in any weather condition, crank the AC during summer cruises while actually enjoying it and get twice the horsepower out the gate in the 5.3. Makes sense...

I agree. Think about that 66 with a C5/6/7 transaxle for weight transfer. All aluminum V8 with Supercharger and a pair of electric motors on the front wheels for AWD Hybrid turning 3.5 sec 0 to 60!!!!!! I think that roller chassis if made commercially by GM would make a hell of a boost to long term GM life. Adaptors for a while range of bodies, wheel bases and power to weight to mileage. With $15K with GM loans then special dealers trained and equipped to make the conversions of your vehicle for $15,000. Again GM loans with warranty. $30,000 base cost plus your donor. Then all the extras as options or with DIY kits from GM. That's what I want to see and GM leads in AWD Hybrid conversions while pumping out AWD Hybrids and full EV in new fresh styles.

If somebody buys a used tuner that's been used on another vehicle will it work on the next vehicle or does that only work on one vehicle and never on any other vehicle somebody selling one online that's already been used on a different vehicle than mine will it still work on my vehicle??
If you’re buying a flashpaq that’s used. You need to make sure that whoever is selling you it put Their truck back to stock tune with the same flashpaq to unlock it for the next truck. If that makes sense
