When I was young, I imagined I saved Uncas and Alice so they could be together lol. Then months ago, my boyfriend and I were watching it together, and I remembered my childhood imagination saving them. And they begin to have a story of their own, wanting one another, but maybe Alice isn't ready to let go of her life in England, and Uncas faces a decision, a love he deserves or the love for Alice. Silly imagination. I never finished it in my head. It's still a beautiful movie though.

This was me & my husband’s favorite movie to watch together. When he was killed in Baghdad in 2005, as soon as I was informed of his death, this scene flashed thru my eyes/heart & I understood all the more about true love. I get it completely. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

The way he watches her through the forest to keep an eye on her and you watch him fall in love with her from the moment he lays eyes on her the first time. I immediately start crying the moment he touches his fathers shoulder to silently tell him he's going after her. Every moment of his love for her was a silent but powerful scene; just beautiful! Her choice to be with him breaks me every time I watch this movie and I cry every time even though I know it's going to happen. Very talented director to relay such passion and love for someone without a single word. That's movie making done excellent!! Although it was tragic how they both died; I always imagine that the instant she landed she was already in his arms in heaven just like she was behind the waterfall when he snatched her from jumping off the ledge. GREAT MOVIE!! All of the actors were so perfect, it's one of my most beloved films! If you haven't seen it, FIND IT AND WATCH IT!!!
