I would love to make this for my wife, her grandmother use to make it for her, I just have one question. When peeling the guava, how come only half gets peeled and the other half just the tips are removed? Is this an important step? If so what happens to the unpeeled guava? Thank you for any feedback!

Parang sobra sobra yung flavoring, tingin ko di na kailangan yung banana flavor or extract kasi yung lasa ng saging matapang na, tapos yung pineapple juice di na din dapat lagyan kasi matatabunan nya lasa ng saging. I think the cinnamon and rhum are enough pero mas maigi kung sprinkle lang yung cinnamon sugar after the glazing. Yung langka mas classic kung kasama sa loob ng wrapper.
