I'm over-all a Libertarian, but you loose your right to free-action when you start inflicting harm directly on others.   The greatest chess games I have ever played were as a kibitzer. Standing aside and detached, I could see moves I never could see as a player. I have to feel sure others have experienced this. As a ben Noach, I have had to reject the spiritual community I grew up in. When the Yom Kippur war broke out, I was in the US Navy -- and a Vietnam vet. I'm no spring chicken. I am utterly mystified by all the events of the past two months. Horrified too. My family comes from Poland and a number died in the camps -- resisting the Nazis. The people killing all those thousands of innocent women and children in the Gaza ghetto are a source of unbelievable darkness. I have to pinch myself to make sure this is not a nightmare. But it is.
