    @eodyeh5641 Kurt's BT1 isn't finished yet, but had plenty of Turbo 5L experiences. They are horses for courses, the power delivery is totally different. Turbo's make more PEAK HP, but blowers will make more power early. Turbo requires alot more work to fit, blower install is a bit more straight forward. Thanks mate 🍻 Generally the more sidewall the better, hence why you'll see most of the offroad boys running tall profile 15's. But I think 17s are a good balance for a daily driver. Although I haven't done it on this vehicle yet, I reckon there's definitely value in fitting a catch can and a fuel pre-filter especially if you're spending long stints in super remote areas. The western filters kits are definitely the go-to in that regard.

  • @TorqHub
    @TorqHub26 күн бұрын

    Hey Graham, yes, you can boost a stock 5.0. Keep it around 10 psi with an intercooler. I'd recommend doing stiffer valve springs at a minimum. Pay good money for a decent tuner and get a genuine walbro/bosch fuel pump. Try not to use anything Chinese besides turbo and intercooler. Turbosmart wastegate 2nd hand if you're on a tight budget.

    Its the same if i discharged negligent rounds, coppas would take my firearms despite me owning them. Welcome to the real world, if you get caught acting a clown you get the consequences which is why its better to cop a no license plate fine if youre gunna muck up than to lose your stuff to hoon laws. Dude would of have to have done something seriously messed up for him to have it physically seized and not just impounded.

    Negligent discharge of rounds from a gun that costs $2000 vs some back block pumpies in a car worth $80,000 They are not the same . Yes I’m fully aware of consequences; however , what is the primary function of a weapon vs the primary function of a vehicle . I don’t think you realise just how easy it is to have a car taken away … and it can happen without ever leaving your driveway. Call up the hoon hotline , give them a cars number plate…. Say they were doing skids/driving recklessly/ making excessive noise and bam 💥 you get a visit from the 5 0 with a tow truck in tow …. It literally is that easy.

    @@beardbuilds5140 bud you clearly have no idea how the hoon laws work and it really shows. Also if you're hooning in the streets with a 80k built car and get caught that's your fault, people can't just call up and report any car but if it's investigated and there is solid evidence (e.g camera's on the street) and they can match your vehicle well than that's your fault. You missed the main point entirely and that your actions have consequences, wanna hoon? Do it on a backstreet or outside of town not on the main streets............... And I'm all for hooning just do it smart, you could get away with it 15 year ago but not today because everything has a camera, just look at how many fines come from phone cameras monitoring (not the camera on the phone lmao incase a non Australian reads this) Wanna conceal your car? Buy magnetic fender protectors like they use on 4x4 and paint them (or a long roll of magnetic sheet) easy to peel off once you're home.

    @@beardbuilds5140 maybe you shouldn't commit type 1 offenses while you work a job that require you to go away. They can impound your car off hoon laws for simply having a built up of rubber under your wheel arches because they have classified that as conclusive evidence of recent burnout even if it was from weeks ago. You have clearly done something to give them authority to do it even if the charges were dropped so reflect on that, wanna know how I know? Because you're so angry and haven't talked about being compensated, if you were really done wrong by you would of been given a pretty decent payout. Weird you think it takes 3 reports for your car to get flagged, only takes one and as soon as police car equipped with ANPR will be required to pull you over to investigate, chances were cops went on base and their ANPR picked up your car and they had a legal right to impound it until end of court case.
