I love this! It's very odd for me to see this as I went and did almost the same thing in Hershey in 2024. I didn't have a drone though. I had not seen your video until after I made mine. We recorded some of the same trees and buildings during heavy snow! Very wild!

Well done to the firefighters, makes a change to see a crew know what they are doing. It is time that the American standards for house building took fire safety into consideration

That was a storm like none of us had ever seen! Or hope to see again! Frightening, devastating, destructive..... This film show so little actually; the whole town looked like a few bombs had been dropped on it. Just so thankful that only one person in town was injured, but there was someone who died on the Interstate - heart attack. My home alone sustained $20K in damages, and there were many that were more than that!

I survived that tornado. I was babysitting my 3 year old grandson when the storm picked up and the TV and phone started screaming the alarm. I grabbed the little one, put him in the tub and put seat cushions on him. We stayed in the interior bathroom with no windows but I couldn't resist leaving the door open a crack to look outside. The wind was fierce, the debris flying by made it impossible to see the trees when it was at its worst. Then I heard awful noises as the trees started snapping and a huge thud as one hit the house. The house moved, I knew it had been hit. When it got quiet again, I opened the bathroom door and was scared to walk out, worried about the floor, would it cave in if we walked out? I took a step out and looked towards the center of the house. The ceilings were all cracked open and where there would ormally be a dark bedroom, there was a forest with sunlight and my heart fell. I was clearly in shock but had to protect my grandson so I grabbed him by the hand to make our way out of the building. We stepped into the living room and he raised his arms to the sky and smiled and said, "RAIN!" Brought me to my senses, we were OK, the house would be fixed, but we were OK. We had to live in a motel for months. It was a horrible memory. Today I had the same boy with me, and his sister, when the alerts sounded again. I grabbed them and we went to a safe place and sat out the storm. Again I am just thankful we are all safe. There are a lot of limbs down but no damage to the house that I have found yet. Weather is serious business.

I was shocked to get a tornado warning because I didn’t hear any thunder and or see any lightning, yeah I was very close to the storm and only a couple miles away from the touchdown. The supercell was completely devoid of any ice crystals and was basically a supercell shower.

Everyone with vinyl siding should consider replacing it with cement siding. Looks more like wood than any other type of siding and is a lot more fire resistant.
