If you’re going to continue to make repair videos you REALLY need your get a voltage meter. You’ll be able to test connections and components before putting r everything back to gather and attempting to see if it works by pulling the cord. There are plenty of professional, experienced videos that you can copy.

@@RepairGang I know I have been to the hardware store and found some rope that seemed like it would work but you know there's some that's more UV resistant and a better abrasion wearing type. That would be a great one to put out. Thanks a lot!

The last time my mower acted like this it cost me a repair bill and the cost to rent a mower. She's purring like a kitten now! Note: I was able to do this without disconnecting the throttle and choke lines.

Really good explanation, very helpful, good insight, makes sense. This might be an exception: I would think that if the timing is off or too advanced, meaning it prefires before the intake valve closes, (if that is even possible with today's smaller engines), a misfire occurs? (Comments are appreciated.)

Thanks for this. I’m in Houston after supposedly Cat 1 Hurricane Beryl left millions of Centerpoint & Entergy customers without electricity. My Guardian 24kW has been running continuously for four days. I’m having trouble getting it serviced since demand is so high. Entergy says four more days until my power is back on, so I might need to add oil to my unit, myself. I have zero mechanical experience. Do I need to change the filter, too?

I have been fired from an Ace Hardware where i ran and managed a Stihl "Silver certified" department along with small engine service. The reason i got fired is the owner could not afford to pay me. I am on my own now, but business is very bad. I live in a small town and people that i know that have done this for years have seen their business lose by 47%. And this is in northwestern Pa.

The CO shutoff system is a critical safety feature which can help to prevent the risk of sudden illness and death resulting from the accumulation of undetected CO, which is an odorless, colorless gas impossible for the human senses to detect. The health and safety of our customers remains our top priority and we recommend discontinuing any use of this product without a functioning CO shutoff system.

Just get a nut cutter. It will safely cut the stripped nut without damaging the threads nor the bearings. When using heat that close to the bearing on the spindle it can damage the bearings which means you'll have to replace the spindle as well.

Was thet magneto US made? Not. No reinforcement behind 1/4" tang to push sideways...should have been vertical tang and flag style connector..warranty ! That was one of my jobs, Quality Control, inspector, R&D tests. I quit because fighting city hall to correct an obvious design issue was a pain and stepped on toes of the design engineer.. all about bonus incentives. Now that fourty years have past, people injured or worse, I still see major cheap flaws in my current job at a component level..design obsolescence. . Still about the $ Maybe the foreign designed part may have seen that flaw and changed it with an included pigtail lead extension . SMH
