On this channel I'll be discussing all things about hockey jerseys. Whether that be new ones that come out, which ones are my favourite or anything of the sort. I am a MASSIVE (not in size but in heart) Leafs fan, but I also just love hockey in general, so I will also talk about random hockey things as well!

New to buying hockey jerseys how does mitchell and ness jerseys fit if u kno smaller than normal shirt size bc it's baggy or tts or maybe size up idk anything helps thanks
I honestly thought that the L/XL labeled sizing would be for youth sweaters/jerseys 🤔
Usually you'd be correct, every other time I've seen a jersey with L/XL its been a youth but with these 1st Gen Heritage sweaters there aren't any other sizes. It's either "One Size" or "L/XL". And they definitely aren't youth sizes from how big they are lol. I think these were more made just as collection pieces from the get go so I don't think they worried too much about the size tags

The customization kit ruins this. The old font was so much better.
I have a game issued Winnipeg Jets RCAF jersey that I bought on the Jets team store website and I like it a lot. That is my 2nd favorite game issued jersey while my favorite is the Anaheim Ducks Reebok edge 2.0 game issued Teemu Selanne farewell year. Anyway to me the Winnipeg Jets RCAF game issued jersey is better than the home, away and throwback ones that they wore this past season. And yes, blue is my favorite color and that RCAF jersey pops in my opinion out of all the jerseys they wore this past season!
A few others I'd swap in - Ducks orange third (I hate orange and the disney duck logo), Columbus red RR1 jersey, Los Angeles - the 'LA' 2020 stadium series jersey, Washington - 2018 'CAPS' stadium series jersey, Winnipeg grey RR1 jersey. And the worst Adidas jersey is a tie between the 'Smashville' and the Av's weird giant A stadium series jerseys.
I'm kinda new to this channel but is there a reason the host wears that wig under his hat? Is it a homage to the Slapshot movie or something?

I get the feeling that this is a hot take but honestly have the complete opposite opinions on the Flyers stadium series jerseys. I actually really liked the 2019 Stadium series jersey for how unique and all around different it felt compared to the rest of their brand and how nicely it matched up with Pittsburgh’s (plus I don’t mind two tones that much especially if the colors work well and black and orange fit that bill for me) while the 2024 ones I found to be completely bland and boring. They just straight up look like a worse version of their away jerseys without the shoulder yolks and the last thing I want from a stadium series jersey is something that feels safe

I feel the exact same way about the RR 2.0 Panthers Jersey, I want to like it so bad bc so many ppl do, idk something just doesn’t sit right to me

I love the Preds RR1.0 but I prefer the RR2.0 more. So glad the mustard cat logo made a return
I am as well but I really don't like the "Nashville" text as it's own patch. It actually looks better on the Fanatics version IMO because it's directly on the jersey (I think you may have been the one to show me this).

LA Kings 3rd jersey from last year is by far the worst. Not sure why they messed with a good thing.

I actually own and LOVE the Winnipeg RCAF jersey. I bought one from Hockey Authentic as soon as they were released and had it customized as a Scheifele jersey. I love it cause the colors pop, the felt letters and numbers are so cool, and it is so unlike most other jerseys. I own 24 jerseys including 5 Winnipeg jerseys and other than their Navy blue heritage…it is probably my favorite.
Navy blue heritage is goated for sure. The RCAF seems to be very divisive, it's like you either love it or hate it
They also forgot the lighthouses on that bland fisherman too

I think the Blackhawks reverse retro if they had put the old school logo that was on what the jersey was based on would have made it look better the wordmark is what made me not be a fan of that one because the Blackhawks have never had a wordmark before so why they went with a wordmark made no sense to me
Ya the wordmark for a Reverse Retro is a bit strange considering they never had one. Not saying they could never use one, but as an RR is weird

Fun as the Wild Wing jersey is I would have to give it to the 30th anniversary jersey the Ducks rocked…damn those are some amazing jerseys

@@TheJerseyZone Love love love St Pats V1. The felt, the number font and the unique stitching make it just so classy and without compare. I'm one of the very few people who prefer the Reebok era simplified Leafs logo, so the new logo that I associate with Adidas doesn't really do anything for me. Once Snoop started wearing 'em because it looked like a pot leaf, I checked out on that one. 🤣

@@TheJerseyZone Interesting. I just bought a knit hat. And it also has the name of the team store on one of the tags. But on the tag under it, it says it's made in China.
They have no problem changing anything on their jerseys as long as it's some crummy bank or airliner. If they are willing to stoop to that level, then they might as well change the rest of their look.

They have used the old duck mask in the triangle so much, I'm glad they finally went a different route. I just wish it didn't have the silly strings.

I don't want the purple and yellow (it's not gold). A return to purple and black was the way to go. I do like that the rubber logo is gone. I will miss the chrome helmets too.

That is interesting there was that much trepidation when Adidas took over. I didn't buy jerseys then. So I didn't pay attention to what others thought. But Adidas was a far more reputable company than Fanatics has ever been. So I would have given them the benefit of the doubt.
I picked up the same two sweaters also for the Father’s Day sale. Great sale…they were marked down and also came with the free book. The first run I picked up the “green leaf” sweater then I picked up the off white “away” sweater from the second run. So I have 4 altogether now. Can’t say enough about these sweaters. I’m really enjoying them. I hope they restock because I definitely want the blue original logo and the barber pole and the 1946 sweater. I wouldn’t mind getting them all to be honest. lol. They did a nice job with these.

@@TheJerseyZone thanks for replying, why is that though? Is it traditional or just thought to be a better feel? I know Detroit uses arched names which may be a factor but so do Rangers and they do use a namebar
@@brandonwilliams4991 I'm not sure the reason for it. Don't think its traditional but I know the Kings and Wings have been doing it for a while, pretty sure both doing so going back to at least the Reebok era
