  Look, this does nothing as he is moving the plastic drive gear behind the sensor while not attached to the steering shaft. This is 12 potentiometers that run a regulated 5Vdc thru the circuit. 0-5Vdc & 5-0Vdc are redundant (Multiple circuits) that allow double checking. The angle changes with the alignment of the car. Installed, this value changed and what ever “Straight Ahead” for you cars steering is different and shared with the assist controller as “New Settings” so no assist occurs while driving straight, if not done on car, the motor may turn the steering wheel left 9 degrees heading you into traffic having to fight the wheel as you drive! This is a bench test! Great, good or bad but not the safe or correct way of doing this part replacement & setup. Besides, every car, truck, SUV and cross-over uses one and work different. GM sells more than most so let’s sell this crap benchtop reader/display to them. Well, what if LED’s or Hall-Effect switches are used? Not our problem! GM changes design roughly every 4-5 years as electronics or engineering comes up with something better. Starting in 2008, now August 2022, GM has 7 different sensors. This thing plugs into one and serves no purpose! No answer anymore. I bet their website is gone “Page Not Found - Error 404”! Bye, we got your money, have a nice day. It like an $8k mink coat that one sleeve is 4 inches short! Yeah! DK. ASE Master Tech since 78

  So all variable resistance built on a 5Vdc input with wiper contacts on silk-screen resistance material designed to go in circles. What is the factory zero pin for? Does the EASM know this, or does re-calibrating only relearn new numbers as each alignment is different? Or all the above. I can do this with my Fluke 87-V and a 5Vdc power supply, install it and still be wrong. Was the variables taken into account? No. DK. ASE Master Tech since 78

  The newly purchased sensors are locked at the zero point. Why do you remove the metal lock and then set zero point with the calibration device?

  usually two torque IC sensors are provided for redundancy.so if one sensor fails, second sensor will do the job

  não, a trava de seguiridade não garante a posição correcta do sensor , pois tem folga que pode variar entre -10 a + 10

  I have a 01 Honda S2000 and my torque sensor maybe my issue but my steering wheel has some strange tendencies. Ppl say it's this but are there actual replacement electronical components that are for replacement rather than buying an entire unit?
