The CAN Control Sessions is about documenting CANada's history of graffiti art, hip-hop and.. freight trains. To be more specific, this channel is all about underground hip-hop (DJ mixes, live shows and lost gems), and benching (filming the graffiti on trains) And also always travelling to new locations in Canada (and some states soon!) to preserve graffiti via video. Sometimes I remember how great the old school was. Back in the midwest, US. A whole train would go by and if you saw ONE single piece you flipped out like OHHHH LOOK, this line has a piece on it! It was as rare to see a car with a piece on it, as much as now it's seeing a car without a tag. Those were the days. Cause no internet, no phones, just you and your friends and that train. And you just had stories to tell. It just meant so much back then like you were a part of something noone else was. (You kinda were really) I don't like internet graf, at all. It ruined graffiti as being special & underground. But I'm really down with these kind of vids. Just raw music, and just postin' what you caught. That's the realest shit in 2024. Thanks for your time putting these together. Sorry I'm rambling nostalgic as fuck today. But your vids are super nice.
Hey thanks dude. They are actually becoming harder to make now and I’m not sure why.. not that I thrive on subs and views. I make no $ from these and most of my more recent ones are actually being blocked “in some countries” (I think only Russia lol!) And I was monetized for a minute and they took it away. Not that I give a shit because it’s about as niche as the underground hip-hop I mix so obviously not alot of ppl interested in that. But ya man I have some really old benches from back in the day and in all honesty the small size of the pieces was dope! So much detail. Now everything’s just MASSIVE.
