I agree with you wholeheartedly. This deck/artwork touches the soul. I just cannot "get over it". It has a purity to it -- almost like Simeone 's Catholic artwork/holy cards. This artist was a classic holy card artist. Look him up: Simeone.

There are orders of nuns that make and sell veils if you want to support the nuns. Covering your head during pagan rituals was common so you’re observing Catholic and pagan practices with a veil. If I’m in ordinary clothes I will put on a prayer shawl over my head that is the same as the altar cloth in lieu of vestments. This pagan practice is part of the consecration of the dedicant that happens before the ritual space and religious regalia consecration happens. Once the consecration happens the gods are invited into the ritual space.

I would love to support nuns, but if they reside in America, I will incur import charges. Yes, covering one's head is such an ancient practice. It is a totally different experience when one's head is covered during prayer. This is also similar to cloaking as a witch. I know that it is a totally different world when one cloaks. It is difficult to describe.

Yes. I got this picture from the nuns a few years ago. I found out her feast day was yesterday, just yesterday. I felt connected to her for about a year and I wanted to buy a statue of her in my town . It is all connected. This crown reminds me of Mary too.

I’ve been drying and arranging oak leaf hydrangeas at the museum for a wedding display, the bride’s decor baskets are still holding up from 1907! The Victorians loved green hydrangeas for good fortune and a green renewal of energy. They are pleasant this time of year in the summer , quite refreshing in all this heat! ❤️

Yes, I guess it promotes violence and intolerance. I forgot how it was stated or worded, but it seems this statue is "outdated" for the Catholic faith. I am a traditional Catholic. I would like the Church to return to the pre-Vatican II Council mass. I also think that the church/chapel veils should return , as they are beautiful and a sign of the sacredness of women.

I had been attacked by women and nuns for veiling here in Croatia, but I will do it again. I have one lady friend who veils in our church. She is from Australia. She returned to Croatia.

I love Art Nouveau. I had a Muccha Tarot Deck, but i had to sell it because I couldn't resonate with the combination of Art Nouveau and Tarot system, it just didn't work for me. I have a Mucha frame in my house and I love it.

Per tradition when a dedicant becomes initiated they select a spirit below (dead person) to stir that spirit to be in harmony with the spirit within (summoning yourself) to aid in calling the spirits above (the Gods etc). In my case a historical Roman pagan from thousands of years ago is my craft/Druid name.

The deck is portraying egyptians as blacks when there has been a lot, thousand of historians saying that they were not really black. If I'm not mistaken, only very few could have been really black because they were originated from Nubia, which was the rival kingdom of Egypt and which is nowadays Sudan.

Do you think you could re-make that video? It was quite windy and I barely could understand what you were saying. The topic sounds very interesting though and I usually avoid speaking in the morning. I'm also someone who speaks very quiet and many people tell me to speak louder.

Sadly not my vibe. I even didnt like H2O mermaid series when I was a girl. There is a movie called "Mermaids" from 2003 if I'm not mistaken. Have you watched it? I've seen very few people talk about it. It is my favourite mermaid movie by far! The intro music is fabulous, I think you're gonna like that movie.
I also did not like H2O as much as I could have. It gives off popular high school girl vibes at times. I like mystical mermaid films. I do like this deck now, but at first I did not like it.
