I miss Dave; old Gwar seemed to have a point and skewered so many things, the new version seems middle of the road and not as into taking a stand on anything that might be off brand. New Gwar is fun, but it misses some of the finer well earned points on life, politics and a view of the world. Old Gwar was punk, New Gwar is pop....in ideas. The sounds are there but the heart is gone... its like a ride thats become to safe. It's to established and will never ever take a chance and do the stuff Dave did, It's become Vegas ready, no need to worry about messy or challenging points of view- new Gwar is fun for the family.
