  Quick gripe here, he’s not a jester, he’s a landsknecht. A type of flamboyantly dressed and generally highly competent German mercenary. More specifically, his use of a Zweihänder/flamberge marks him as an extra skilled fighter who would’ve been in the front of the formation.

  Even the Frenzied Flame is better than this. Frenzied Flame - everyone dies so all can be One again. The nihilism ending. "It is better not to be". At the very least, there is peace in non-existence. Age of Despair - everyone is tortured forever, for no reason other than the ravings of a madman serial killer. The sadism ending. A big middle finger to everyone that was brutally killing you throughout the game, but you're also damning any good NPCs. Despair's unnecessary torment is exactly what even the Frenzied Flame worshippers were trying to avoid. They want everything to die so nothing has to suffer

  Going into NG+ to get the upgraded Rotten Wing insignia as well. You'll get that from helping Millicent. Which Imo the 2v4 gank fight is more difficult so I help her first than get the prosthesis in NG+
