Thanks for the video! lol your apology is also priceless 😊😊 Starring, directed by, and produced by my dearest darling Leslie Howard. This film reportedly inspired the heroic actions of Raoul Wallenberg. Apologies for the quality - this is all I have at the moment.

Leslie Howard was a class act, & a wonderful talent both in front of and behind the camera. Winston Churchill had a special screening of this inspirational movie for officers & guests on board the battleship Prince of Wales in Aug 1941 en route to Newfoundland for his historic Atlantic Charter meeting with FDR.

12:02 So, the sexist abuser of women trying to enforce his Aristotlean Sharia Law to remove females from education and equality as human beings naming females "the deplorables" is now stating that he is seeking the Aryan race. I am sorry that Leslie Howard plays such a cad in this film. Usually, Leslie plays likeable parts.

I hadn’t seen this for a while. What a joy to find it here. This is a splendid, understated story of the fear people felt in the days leading up to WW2. I always get a little tickled seeing the dad from “Mary Poppins” as a young college student. Leslie Howard was a brilliant man and it is a crying shame that we lost his future work when he was killed in the war.

Charles Jude remains my favorite Faune, hands down. Jude maintains a witheld self-enclosure which seems close in alignment to what remains documented concerning Nijinsky's original performance and choreographic intent. There is a beautiful feral "otherness" in Jude's presentation.

Leslie Howard and cast led us beautifully down an historic path of espionage in the guise of planning, executing, escaping and thwarting corrupt, dangerous, seemingly all-powerful Nazi goons successfully...to the bitter end. Intrigue, recon exploits, unknown to us assistants, close calls, powerful willpower, switcheroo and a tiny bit of romance for all the right reasons. Bravo and thanks for sharing❤🎉😊

Pietragalla is phenomenal! I get feverish watching this because of how I feel watching her dance and fear for The One, dancing to her death. If I could dance a fraction of this as even half-decently, I’d be grateful!

LYRICS: "DENMARK" Like mist or a daydream real Made of substance Can you feel it? Buildings brown (of in a gray downtown) In the twilight Can you see it? Photographs Typographs In the papers did you read it? Stop and blink What would she think? In the meantime does it matter much at all? Denmark came and a Denmark marked my soul Songs for a real crowd in a cafe Full of listeners Know your tongue And they know your man In the crowd now did you see her? Airplanes Window panes And a misting of the viewpoint Stop and blink As I pause to think I wonder would I miss her much at all Denmark came and a Denmark marked my soul Muse for a damp heart In a country living softly Countless walks on a timeless way In a body filled with coffee Poetry Irony Of the moment Can you hear it? Stop and blink As I start to think I wonder will I miss this much at all? Denmark came and Denmark marked my soul
