I saw this review before I signed up with a group. It was a 16 day cruise to Iceland. I got bad vibes from the review but I thought I'd sail because I was with a group. My review isn't 4 anchors. It's 5 torpedos! Beverage Program I bought a program that read "up to 20 juices." Absolutely misleading. Not 20 juices. 20 glasses of juices so on a 16 day cruise I ran out early. I had to buy an unlimited juice plan which cost 300 euros. Both plans cost 380 euros, that's about $420 US, I never paid for a beverage program on a cruise ship. I ordered Pineapple Juice in the buffett. I was told to go to the bar on deck, in the COLD. How's that for service. Dining Room You can't get coffee and ice cream. You have to go to buffet (deck 9) for coffee. When I got there, there wasn't any coffee because it's only served between 6 and 7 pm, the SAME time I'm in early seating. I saw a couple get ice cream, because they were vegans. I told the Maître d' that if you could service ice cream to them, it could be served to me. I finally got ice cream. You can't get ice cream because you have to go the "ice cream store." That's right. You have to pay for EVERYTHING" You get the idea. I'll NEVER sail on Costa again. I'm looking forward to getting the evaluation form so I can torpedo the ship.
You guys are so helpful, we appreciate you both! I have the same blue/white flannel shirt, looks great!
Thank you so much for your kind words
Very useful video, thank you
Thank you 🙏
Just booked an early access tour the the palace, prison, basilica & terrace 🤗 can’t wait and the early start I’m sure will be so worth it
Fantastic let us know how you like it 😊
How much is it to go on the condola pls
Depends on the type of ride and if you want to share a gondola or do private, but it starts at €80 for half hour
15 minutes of complaining and complaining and complaining. Enjoy the day guys. Just relax, take it easy. You visited heaven and only thing you did was complaining 😅
We did not complain not sure what you are referring about
Thank you so much for this video guys. Practical and concise !
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you both❤
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank You! ❤Venice❤
We are glad you like it 😊
Where does montepulciano d'Abruzzo comes from?
From Abruzzo a region on the east coast of central Italy
Great video. We recently enjoyed our one day in Milano. The highlights for us were the trams, Spontini pizza right next to the Duomo and Cappucchino in the Galleria. So much preferred Milano to Florence.
We are very glad you liked it! Milan is a wonderful city
We love the videos, they help us feel very prepared to visit around Italy! Do you have a video coming up for Modena?
Thank you so much for your nice comment. We do not have a video about Modena yet, which is really strange considering that we live in Modena 😂😂 but we will make one
We plan to do this on our next trip. Does the tour make bathroom stops??
Yes they do have one bathroom break but if you need to use the bathroom you can ask and they stop for you
I will be coming to visit!
Let us know how you like it
Great advice it may be small but it is huge to get around. So much to see and not easy to traverse without some maps etc
Thank you 🙏🏻
Do we need to purchase Funicolare Tickets in advance or as we arrive?
Hello there, no you can buy the tickets when you are at the station
you guys are so funny and helpful. I watched it last time before I went to Rome. Here I watch your clip again before headnig to London. Thanks so much.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Can you please tell me which five star hotel you stayed in
Yes it was the Palazzo Keller
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you
What is the least expensive way to get from the Pan Pacific Hotel to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park ? Thanks
There is a free shuttle bridge from Canada Place to Capilano suspension bridge, you can take a look here: www.capbridge.com/shuttle-schedule/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwmrqzBhAoEiwAXVpgoodanckHZlYNVFa33gnZbIghuI5d2qkG2fugSNQVTv0GHEQVb0N1BhoCxw4QAvD_BwE
I just found you guys today and I love you. Awesome tours. My sister and I have been traveling to Italy 🇮🇹 and Sicily. Our grandfather was born in Sferracavallo, Sicily. 3 trips in the last 2 years. Venice, Milan, Verona, and Murano is in our next trip next spring. With all that said, my only issue with you is the fact you don’t show us food when you are eating out. Yes Food is one of our favorite pastimes on our Italy 🇮🇹 trips. So there it is. Love you guys and looking forward to more of your Italy trips. Have you been to Sicily? Safe travells, a new fan 🐞❤️🇮🇹🌻
Thank you for your nice comment 😍 we have been to Palermo, Catania, Messina and Taormina in Sicily 😍
golf cart is much more expensive lol
If I don't tire you out too much, if I go to the Vatican by metro and get off at the Barberini stop, which stop should I get off at? I would be very pleased if you answer.
We are not sure what are you asking, but the stop for the Vatican is Ottaviano, not Barberini
@@TravelAddictsLife Yes, I solved it after looking at the map in your video, thank you so much.
Sadly there were 2 of us and l ordered morning coffee at the Bar. The server gave me ONE coffee continuing his conversation with his partner and not looking at me or acknowledging me. He left my coffee and went on to serve someone else. My dream was to sit and have morning coffee together with my companion, which we don't get a chance to do at home. Whilst waiting for the second cup and the first one getting colder and colder another guest was screaming: "You've got yours it's MY turn!" VERY DISAPPOINTING service indeed. Not an Italian guy they were asian. Aside from this l didn't let it upset my cruise which l enjoyed.
Sorry to hear about that
❤
We are planning to visit Rome and visit historic places there so would like to skip Florence. We want to spend 2 days/1 Night in San Gimignano. We do not want to drive. What would you suggest is the best way to travel and preferably any good recommendations on agrotourismo available there.
Hello there, if you don't want to drive getting to San Giminiano is a bit problematic, you can probably take a bus or a tour but not many other choices.
Rick and Andreas,I back watching your channel, as I’m planning another trip to Italy in August. You guys are the reason why our family holidays are so amazing. Your videos allowed me to create an itinerary for our trip to Florence and Rome, including excursions and pre booked train tickets to perfection. Thank you. I’m looking for another amazing 5 day visit with my wife and two kids aged 17. Do you have any recommendation’s? We love the Italian culture and traditions, and would love to experience the most authentic side of Italian lifestyle. I am desperate to try real Amalfi lemons.
Hello there thank you so much for the kind words 🙏 one area that is wonderful to experience the true Italia lifestyle is Emilia Romagna, it is not super touristy yet and it can offer a true picture of what living in Italy is. Also in Emilia Romagna you can visit the Ferrari Museum or the Lamborghini museum. There is also a wonderful amusement park called Mirabilandia that would be perfect for teens. Also you can visit some incredible cities such as Bologna, Modena, Parma and Ferrara that are full of gems and history.
When we saw the option to book it Lyon to Paris we jumped on it. Executive class was empty except for us. I really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice, to say nothing of turning a 5:30 hour car ride into 1:56 on the train.
Thank you 🙏

100% Agreed guys !
I'm on year 9 and plan to go to 10. I never thought to go longer.
Hello, will you be on the Genoa Dubai in November ?
Unfortunately no 😢
@@TravelAddictsLife We met on the Toscana in February. I'm the guy who had his Princess cruise cancelled at the last minute. I was thinking that, with a bit of luck, we could have had a coffee in November on our way to Dubai, but that's for another time.
@@patricec.2957 Hey there we remember you! We were supposed to go in November but unfortunately we can't take 5 weeks this November so we changed for a crossing from Savona to La Romana
great video!!! thx for this Review!KEEP Up the great work guys!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the info, I'm going in just over a month! I'm trying to budget time for that day, about how long doest it typically take for picking up and dropping off?
Thank you for the comment. It all depends on how busy they are.
Pro tips for driving in Italy. 1. Never put your phone down. And remember, texting while driving is a skill that needs to be practiced. 2. Drive as fast and reckless as possible. When you see pedestrians or bicyclists on the road, don’t slow down. Try to see how dangerously close you can get without hitting them. Especially at crosswalks. The same rule applies to driving near motorcyclists on the autostrada. 3. When entering a roadway or intersection, never look in the direction of the oncoming traffic. Only look in the direction that you want to drive. If there’s traffic, block the oncoming cars and wait until there is an opening in the lane you need. And of course, never use your indicators. 4. Ignore all speed limits and stop signs. When at a traffic light, honk your horn as soon as the light turns green. Don’t be shy, horns are made for honking. 5. Parking. Make sure that when double parking you block as much traffic as possible. 6. If the car or motorcyclist in front of you is not going as fast as you want, be sure to tailgate at least a half meter from their bumper. Don’t forget to dangerously pass whenever possible, even on blind corners.

Thanks for a great video guys. Me and my husband are visiting Venice in July (for my birthday) and it's a Saturday (I know it's going to be crazy busy) we want to do a private gondola. Would you recommend we pre book this or are we ok to turn up on the day? If we should pre book, do you have a recommendation on which website or company we should use?
Thank you for your comment. Being July and Saturday we strongly recommend you to prebook your gondola ride, otherwise you could wait in line for a very long time. We used this site to book: readysetitaly.com/venice-gondola and we had very good experiences. Let us know how your trip goes,
@@TravelAddictsLife Thankyou I've booked our gondala. Appreciate the advice 🙂
Thank you for the info
We are glad to help
Thank you so much...
You are very welcome
Thank you!!! I’m visiting this summer!! I’m taking a cruise but I’m gonna stay in Rome a few days beforehand!
Fantastic let us know how you like it
We will on costa cerena cruise tomorrow 😊

Good luck 😅
Hello! Thanks for the great and helpful review! 😊 we've been only on MSC, but as we also smoke, wanted to ask how did you feel as smokers on the board? Besides the lack of tobacco in the stores, are there areas where you can sit with a cigarette and coffee? And is smoking allowed on the cabin balcony? Thanks!
Hello there, yes there are areas for smokers to sit and have a coffee. We think that it is possible to smoke on balconies but we are not sure
It will be my second time to Napoli in two weeks. I hated the city the first time but I also loved it. I am coming back because the first time I had only time to see Capri, Amalfi coast and a bit of Naples. I totally skipped Pompei which was not my decision by the way. Coming from Greece I am entirely familiar with high temperatures but this time we will have a two year old with us and this makes things tougher. I really don't want to skip Pompei again but Hercolaneum seems to be much more manageable. I will have 8 days this time but still don't think I could pull both off. I will be visiting Ravello, Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Procida, Caserta, day trip to Rome (sixth time) and of course spending much time in actual Naples.
Thank you for your feedback, with Small kid you are right Herculaneum is much more manageable. Let us know
Did anyone else see the words legal weed spray painted on the side of the building along with what looked like graffiti? 6:51
Thanks you so much is video is so helpful. Going on a cruise in September.
Thank you 🙏
Just finished a Mediterranean cruise began in Barcelona and for us disembarked in Rome..stayed three days...love Rome ❤❤
Thank you 🙏🏻
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you!
I agree with most of what you said except for one thing. Venice has little to no benches, so that forces people to sit on steps and other areas. If the city doesn't like people doing that then they should invest in some benches. Other than that, Venice is one of my favorite cities to visit.
Thank you for the feedback 🙏
hi Rick, Andrea, are there trail signs for hiking in Tri Cime, Seceda and the rest of the spots?
