I want something that i can hit a little further with, as my 5 hybrid is only carrying about 145-150. Hoping to add another fairway hitter (3H or 5/7 wood) that can get me closer to 175ish carry.

Agree with MSH. If you are new to the game lowering scores will mostly come from around the greens. 80% of strokes come from 80 yards and closer. Ex. Hit it ok on par 4 and you miss the green in two shots or three. A chip and 1 putt is a par. Many struggle and may chip twice maybe and have 2 or more putts. Find a ball that you like here is my suggestion. Practice also. If possible, with the ball you play so you get used to the feel and reactions.
