Always make a photo copy, a photo and if your passport is lost and you can take it to the British Embassy if you lose your passport.

I witnessed first hand a young English lad be bear hugged and dragged off the stripped outside beach comber bar and into a door way/ foyer and severely attacked and beat by 10 men.Albanians I think.They were all given the nodd and appeared from every direction. Even the takeaway staff were in on it.They gave a signal and they ran to what I believe was to collet the English lads stolen credit cards and every thing he was carrying.They work as a team.The English lad was battered and this went on for ten minutes.I couldn't see exactly what was happening as the was a small glass window in the doors.I saw repeated blows and kicks.I couldn't do anything to help as I would of become a victim myself.I was sat in the bar opposite with my girlfriend.wanted to film this but filming these types of going ons is a big no,no.They will take your phone and beat you if spotted filming.Please listen to what im saying.Dont be alone and don't go out flashing your cash or wearing gold of any type or you'll become another statistic.Ive heard many horror stories.Ive been going Benidorm since 1982 so believe me I know yhe do s and don't s.All said Benidorm is ace and you'll love it.

You are advocating for tourists to break the law? It’s law in Spain for foreigners to carry their passport. You must be able to produce your passport when required to by police. To not carry your passport is breaking the law.

Don't be so daft everyone leaves there passport in the room safe the spanish police dont expect holiday makers to take a passport to the beach in fact they advise you to not take any valuables.I go to Beni 4 times a year and have never carried my passport and never will.

Solid advice. And to anyone who thinks the guy is trying to give Benidorm a bad name, fellow Benidorm KZreadrs have said the same. It's just warning people to be extra careful and he's talking through experience. I personally agree and I love Benidorm and haven't personally been a victim of any crime or anyone I know. It's a place where I feel very safe as a solo traveller that's why I keep going back. Please don't let it put you off going, just be vigilant and have a great holiday

In benidorm for Christmas, quiet a few beggars about,DON'T interact with them,Do Not look at them,just keep walking past.Please Please do not take your passport out with you.If you feel something is wrong walk into the nearest shop or pub and ask for help.

Thank you so much for this info. Didn't realise it is that bad there. We went in May. Been many times but didn't like the Hotel and a fall I had in the street put the kibosh on me going in the pool. Sad really. My knee was cut badly from broken tiles. 😢

@@iammrberserker6068 Cheers, yeah I've a few scores on Hypersports/Paperboy/Track 'n' Field. The 999.990 on Punchout! wasn't me. It was my mate playing with my initials. Yeah same mate had problem on 1942.....he gave up after a 500k I think cos joystick was shite. I got 6.8m on Robocop with a truly awful joystick lol. Oh that Moon Cresta version they have at Leeds is the hardest ROM-set...tough, and a dodgy 'left' button at times!!! Cheers -- AL

I wouldn't stay there again as it is at the top of what the locals call Cardiac Hill, you can see how steep the hill is on other videos I did while in Los Christianos , hotel was great , but the location is not the best, but they do run a shuttle service to and from the hotel

There is plenty for everyone depending on what you are into, the hotel entertainment is what you would expect , pretty average, but when out and about you have plenty of choices

Be careful when you arrive at your hotel on the coach ,2 people were fleeced just getting off the coach getting their suitcases ,this is another common one ,
