    The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.

    I did started with few lessons from a friend who is into classic car restoration, but then it was just a matter of talking to paint distributors about products and lots of painting bikes for practice.

    my only problem is why does it have to waste so much alloy?

  • @willowman420
    @willowman4202 жыл бұрын

    A lot of wasteines comes from my lazynes… it comes down to work holding usually if it’s easy it’s gonna be less optimal. In production setting I could be more careful and efficient with material and time but this was just for that one component. I guess we could make more of them but there is few problems, this adapter had to be changed to fit this exact fork/break/break adapter/disc combination. If you can get the necessary measurements and clearance I can make it. Ride hard, be safe.

    And so by watching this video, I am supposed to know how to paint a bike and what to use? What did you spray the bike with when it was bare metal? what was the file thing you used at the beginning? If anything, this video leaves me with more questions than answers. Thanks well done video on watching a guy paint a bike and not learning SHIT

    so I'm a bike painter and not a youtuber (yet)... I know that one could wish more details and I plan on making more and more videos, where I will explain more stuff. I used a file to take off all high spots and bare metal was sprayed with an epoxy primer (I find them very durable, compared to acrylic ones).

    First off, this video is great and the bike is amazing. The details here are incredible. I found this vid because I used to own this model 204 Magnum. It is a really well-made frame, with all the various pieces and pivots of good quality. It was really solid and stiff but HEAVY. But the suspension was good, it rode well, and looked cool (I had a Marzocchi Shiver on mine--it was heavy af with big tires, Intense Mag 30 rims at one point, and that beefy frame). I bought it used, and the (proprietary?) Mr. Dirt chainguide was falling apart, but still worked fine. I think it had 12x165mm hub spacing and a 100mm bottom bracket, which is not great for getting replacement parts. The suspension was awesome for the time, though. The biggest downside was the head angle. Like 68 degrees or something. I raced it some and rode a lot in the northeast US. Ended up getting a crack in the headtube at some point; can't even remember what I did with it after that. Fun while it lasted, though. Really cool bike that still looks great.

    Hey! So nice to hear that. I have to admit that Shiver is also my favourite fork ;) you're right about the tech specs, so it isn't the most obvious construction ever, however it always will be one a kind - love it !

  • @VeloveWarszawa
    @VeloveWarszawa2 жыл бұрын

    I want to create a frame for that, so it will have mounting points already in the design ... putting a motorcycle seat on a bike would be quite difficult to make it look proportionally. However RMX is a good starting point ;)
