WE ARE GOING TO SPACE
Hi as a request upload Webinar of System-Level Validation and Optimization of Electric Vehicle Motor Designs which is held on 4th June 2024
It really help alot, thank you very much
Hello. I have to complete the draft of a fluid power circuit model constructed in amesim simcenter. If you can help, please write your email.
Thnks. How should deal with boolean variables in python in HEEDS?
I can't see option of edit with notepad
Thank you!
Thanks buddy ❤❤❤❤
Drawings are universal standard implment on Drawing generation
Thansk.May I ask star ccm+15.02 how to import the battery pack built by 3D software and analyze the temperature change during discharge (without cooling system)?
Hi, this can be done using Star-CCM+ - see the following article: blogs.sw.siemens.com/simcenter/battery-pack-thermal-simulation/ We recommend contacting Maya HTT as we can help with any training required: www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/
when I define analysis portals in heeds software and select eMachine design and add file it doesn't work i get error unable to parse the input file why
Hi, we recommend raising a support question with your HEEDS supplier with details of the file and error. If it is Maya HTT, our support page can be found here: www.mayahtt.com/services/support/
Can you use multiple project values in a single line? I have multiple VMs, and each one uses a unique project value that corresponds to the project variable set inside the VM. Can I reserve a license type for multiple project values?
Hi, We find no examples of using more than one value for PROJECT. Searching for "FLEXnet Licensing Environment Variables" will get you to the documentation for this feature.
It is quite clear, I am pleasure to watch this content very helpful. A best chance to understand how model is created in hierarchical structure and how it works in Flotherm simulator
Hi,How can I find the file of''Tab Connection"
They are lobbying a bill in canada right now,- the online “HARM” bill, - to criminalize informing people that they are abusive or abused. In canada you will be charged for telling people they are exploited or abused by a criminal government on the internet.
Can a mechanical engineer has scope to learn this flotherm or this software is only for electronic engineer ?
Absolutely, as Flotherm is oriented towards mechanical engineers designing electronics cooling. Collaboration with electrical engineers is enabled by importing their PCB design data (ECAD), which Flotherm parses to obtain a high-fidelity thermal model of board/components.
Thank you for these lectures. Very useful for folks trying to expand their modeling experience into the Micro-electronics space.
Thank you for your comment!
How could I best model a section with a curve or a variation in space, in this case I am using this model for welding and looking to apply it to T-joints of pipes? Regards
Thanks for your question! For a 3D curve (or edge of your geometry, such as your T-joint intersection), a great way to do this is to choose “Parameter” (and optionally Time) as your Independent Domain. Your curve/edge can be selected graphically when setting up the Field (and once again when defining the boundary condition). A similar approach for an entire face is to choose “Parameter Plane”. Hello blogger, may I ask if you can use STAR-CCM+to simulate ship ice? I would like to do a simulation that never simulates ice
Thanks for your question! Yes Simcenter STAR-CCM+ can model ship-ice interaction where the ice is modeled as particles (DEM). The ship can break through particles and the particles can impact and influence the motion of the ship (2 way coupled simulation). If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us (www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/).
@@MAYAHTT1 Thank you very much for your answer. May I ask if you have any relevant information or videos on ship ice simulation to share? Also, I have a question. What is the difference between considering unidirectional coupling and bidirectional coupling in Star CCM+for ship ice interaction? Thank you again for your answer!
really starting to sink my teeth into solid edge so thanks for the help it seems like a really powerful program once you get the hang of it ive been debating which program to learn and i think i made the right choice.
Thanks alot! you've solved my issue :)
Glad we could help!
hello could you share us MLI modellng
Within Simcenter 3D, you can model MLI by changing the 2D element physical properties to either Multi-Layer Shell Uniform or Multi-Layer Shell Non-Uniform. With uniform multi-layer shells, each layer has the same material and the same thickness. With non-uniform multi-layer shell elements, each layer can have a different material and a different thickness. In both of these options the solver will add a calculation point for each layer, and the user will be able to post process results for each layer. hello, in SST, ı want to define time dependent heat load (in a day just three times open thermal load), ı couldn that could you help me?
Thank you for your question! To help you with this question, we would need some additional context. Feel free to contact us here: www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/
@@MAYAHTT1 I contacted but they said me that I have to do a contract?
Thank you maya
You're welcome!
Mariage interessant.
I really need the geometry file. Can you provide it, Please.
Thanks for your question! For more details on the content of this video, feel free to contact us: www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/
Très intéressant merci!
Do you have any such tool for submarine simulation. Deeply submerge or shallowly submerged with sea wave.
Thanks for your question! Yes, we can do this type of simulation using Simcenter STAR-CCM+. There is no standard Siemens template that can be used (like the VTT) for this type of simulation though. However, a simulation template can be built by the user. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us (www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/).
Hi,May I ask where can I get the case of heavy loads in the top two boats on the left and the ship on the bottom left in the 43rd minute?
Thanks for your questions! We recommend that you get in touch with your support engineer to see if they can dig out that information. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us (www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/).
This is worthless, not the work but the video, it plays as a shitty advert for NX instead of a useful tutorial.
Thank you for introducing many good features. They are very helpful. Though, I have problem with SOL 109, NX Nastran direct transient analysis, running on NX version 2000. Current License appears not to support SOL 109 as shown in the Error message below in .f06 file. ID,NASTRAN,G_M1CD_S-SOL_17_DS_4%_EL SOL 109 *** USER FATAL MESSAGE 3060 (PREFACE) - AUTHORIZATION ERROR *** UNABLE TO OBTAIN LICENSES FOR Simcenter Nastran Dynamic Response - NX Desktop (Bundle) PLEASE REFER TO THE LOG FILE FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS 1 * * * END OF JOB * * Have you experienced this kind of problem? I would very much appreciate it if you can help me with this issue. If you have equivalent solution type, please let me know. Thanks much!
Thanks for your question! Looks like you are missing the required licence features to run Sol 109; we recommend contacting your current Siemens Software partner for support. You can usually find this info in the header of your license file. Alternatively, Maya has a great tool called SATK, which is considerably faster and easier to use than SOL108/109/111/112 for computing frequency and transient responses with margins of safety from normal modes (SOL 103) output; see Structural Analysis Toolkit for NASTRAN (www.mayahtt.com/products/structural-analysis-toolkit/). You can contact the Maya team directly here to discuss support and license options: www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/
Hi, could you please introduce how to simulate a moored boat's reaction to the waves? (such as the condition at 43:54)
Thanks for your question! You would need to define 2 bodies in your DFBI model: a 6DOF one for your boat and a 0DOF for your mooring (you can also use the environment directly), then create a body coupling between the two of them with a spring damper component to model the mooring. The rest of the set-up would include the overset mesh for the boat’s motion and VOF for the free surface calculation. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us (www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/).
What's the advantage of this method over assembly file with parts and constraints
No advantage. Assembly constraints are actually preferred. The purpose of this video is mainly just to show a tip/trick and how something like this could be done. Some people prefer to just have one part the part that drives their assembly because they are not aware of some of the other capabilities that NX provides, such as “make work part” to design in context of an assembly.
I don't understand how ChatGpt is providing any value. Please explain?
It provides distraction, a negative value but value nonetheless.
Hello, could you please let me know from where can I import the empty version of the virtual tank template?
Thanks for your question! The VTT Template can be found on this Siemens support center: (support.sw.siemens.com/knowledge-base/KB000040250_EN_US). If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us (www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/).
I am searching for Fluid Structure interaction tutorial videos
Thanks for your question! Regarding Fluid Structure Interaction, Simcenter STAR-CCM+ would cover this topic. For further questions on STAR-CCM+, feel free to contact us: www.mayahtt.com/about-maya-htt/contact/
How do you get them to have the relationship in the first place? Does it pull information from teamcenter? Looking to pull drawings in mass with their related sub components, not sure if that’s something NX can help do
Can You Pls Share the CAD File for the above simulation?
Hi sir, could you please help me in solving Elastic rod(FSI) problem statement
The best way to get help with Star CCM+ is to contact your local Star Dedicated Support Engineer (DSE) or raise the support question with your Star CCM+ supplier. There is also the Simcenter Star CCM+ online community - this post could be of interest - Thermo-mechanical 2-Way FSI Coupling: Bi-metal strip in hot gas flow. community.sw.siemens.com/s/question/0D54O00007RlhEOSAZ/thermomechanical-2way-fsi-coupling-bimetal-strip-in-hot-gas-flow
H, Can I have this module file? I want to use it for further modifications at my end
I want one of the Sub Zero fridges!
Very interesting!
Not a bad idea, but does it work correctly with notations like roughness?
In this example we have only use the text based attributes from the model. Symbols such roughness or GD&T could certainly be captured from the drafting as well. If we then leveraged image recognition AI models that are trained to recognize these types of symbols we could add it to the context. This is certainly outside of the limits of ChatGPT which is purely text based right now. Did you have a particular use case in mind relating to surface finish roughness?
Very interesting!
Hi, where can I find those model and thermal data?
Very interesting! 🎉
Very useful, thanks !
Hi! I am willing to apply the localized surface wrapper on a case which is very similar to yours. I created the offset from the part of interest, however Star keeps telling me that he would not manage to merge the newly wrapped surfaces to the pre-existing wrap. Do you think it has something to do with the individual wrapping of parts? What I use is a wrapping operation that includes the whole vehicle at once . Do you have any suggestions on how I could make it work?
