    Found your Video, an hour to late. I don't know what genius engineer, got this idea for this mounting mechanism. Tried to change the Bumper in the backyard. Not possible. Next week in will destroy the bolds an cut open the the metall box an change everything. No wonder the hyundai car dealer wanted 900€ for the "simple" change of the rear bumper.

    @@mechanicallymindedmike9677 Just to be on the safe side. The lower nut also fits on the upper bolt, right? I have just ordered the new bolts for the top and the nuts for the bottom from Hyundai. Not sure what lights you're referring too. If you mean the DRL, then they're on permanently and dim when side lights or dipped light's are turned on. If you want to get out of permenant ignition on aka, out of diagnostics mode. Then you just press the start button once more and it'll switch off.

    So the newer models come with a same coloired wire pre cut and bridging them together turns it off. Others you'll need to use a multimeter. Find the wire that goes 12v feed positive when you go into reverse. Then chop that wire. Should sort you out mate.

    I'm a mobile tyre fitter, and those pin design locking wheel nuts are the bain of my life, as you can guarantee the garage monkey with his new F1 Airgun he got for Christmas will have used all the newtons available in his new toy to put those things back on. He will have also rounded the pins, making it useless. A friend of mine makes a living travelling the country removing those, and other typres of locking wheel nuts

    Hi great info, I had my timing belt done on mine about 5k miles ago when I removed the cover last week to clean something, I noticed that the arrow wasn’t in the middle! Does it move or should it be in the middle constantly? As I put it back on and drove a bit and it was looking better, but not quite central.

  • @mechanicallymindedmike9677
    @mechanicallymindedmike96779 ай бұрын

    Hiya, yes it will move slightly. But we're talking marginally. At this point, engine was timed. The arrow should be bang on for sure. (Hope that makes sense mate?) When doing timing belt also recommended you change cam sensor too. Quite recently I've had a sensor fail on customer's van 5 k n4 belt due for change. So it's something I'd recommend changing now when booking belt jobs on this engine type

    My module failed after 7 years, stuck on side of a road with the brake locked up. Had to tow to my local tyre shop. These modules are made in China for Hyundai, so I bought mine about half the price the dealer wanted just to supply, fitting was Hyundai "standard rates". My local tyre shop fitted everything up for about 1/3rd of the cost the dealer wanted. Works perfectly. Thought about doing this myself until I saw this video....too much headache for me.
