It was pretty cool to see my personal favourite type which is Ground, have a huge race like this JD. Absolutely loved this run and I enjoyed the Marowak Gen 2 one as well. It was also awesome to watch Marowak wreck everything with Swords Dance in Gen 1 with the Gen 2 move set as well. Will be back for more next week.

Lol That's basically Disney. They have a 10 pt DEI system that a movie has to go through in order to be green lit. I see no reason not to include minorities in movies. However, when you put an agenda before the story just to prove a point; that's when people have had enough. We have to deal with DEI stuff all the time in the real world. Starwars is an escape from reality. Why must the agenda be pushed in a galaxy far far away????

@@jdsnerdverse this is your opinion. Mine is, the original trilogy was intact, without any need for exposition or expansion. The additional films were a vanity project for Lucas. We didn't - need - to see space-Jesus and the virgin Shmi. We didn't need clothes-horse queen or Jar Jar. Again, your opinion is valid and if you liked them, great. The genius of "Star Wars" was the first film. It told a complete story. "Empire" and "Jedi" were extra frosting on a delicious cake. The prequels were sprinkles, whipped cream, candles, sparklers, and animated trinkets. :(

I thought Sneasel was dark/flying back when I was a kid, so I used Ice Punch, saw it wasn't very effective, and I was confused. I eventually found out it was part ice type since I used Fire Punch on it later in life and it was super effective.

You can pick up the TMs for Mega Punch and Water Gun in Mt. Moon, so you don't have to deplete PP for Marowak before the 2nd rival battle. Unless you're referring to the optional rival battle west of Viridian.

Yep you sure did have the Amulet Coin equipped since you got 1,800 Poke dollars from Falkner and he normally gives 900 Poke dollars. For me I cheat in infinite Money to mimic the ability to pick berries and change the clock to pick the berries again and over and over until I've got enough to buy whatever I want, then I usually buy some vitamins for my Pokemon, although I didn't buy any vitamins in my bug type only run.

I love how we're both doing Pokemon Crystal content! Gen 2 is so refreshing, it doesn't have natures and abilities like Gen 3, but it also has more Pokemon than Gen 1 and a fixed 6.25% crit rate unless you have high crit moves that double the crit rate to 12.5%! 251 Pokemon in Gen 2, God this is gonna take a while to complete this game on our channels. 🤣🤣🤣

@@jdsnerdverse I plan on doing a Solo Mew run next. I'm pretty sure with 100 in all stats this thing can beat Red at a level under 100 since Mewtwo did it at 75. Oh yeah Mewtwo can beat Pokemon Crystal on minimum battles, but I'm not willing to do minimum battles since I don't have the patience needed to pull off a win at the lowest level possible lol. I'm surprised you don't have more views than you do now considering how well edited the videos are and the thumbnails are incredible!

great video! started a little quickly, I can almost feel the rush you were in to get the video out. i was almost overwhelmed jumping straight into stats without a bit of a prediction or foreshadowing but you got a lot of info to cover. that being said I'd be fine with a 45+ minute video so you can keep the Rizz and the stats.

I do have a prediction video that released on Monday that goes over a lot of the predictions of these things. However my usual trend is to gradually go through the stats then the moveset and the team move set as we get through the first part of the game before we get to the first gym however with this pokémon I wanted to highlight how horrible metronome was so I wanted to get those things kind of done and out of the way so I can focus on that. so yeah a little bit different a little bit off the beaten path that feedback though is very valuable and I will adjust that in the future

I'm not sure if this has been said or if you figured it out since this episode. But Return can be given at Goldenrod Department Store by the lady that stands next to the guy on the TM floor on Sundays, your lead pokemon has to have a high friendship in order to be given the TM (this can be repeated to get infinite TM's each & every Sunday unless it was patched in a later version of the game)

Already play through I probably should have done that to be honest but all I did was just use metronome and go back and forth. I had to get to a higher level to get by Faulkner anyway so it felt like the best strategy

I did however as soon as a big Faulkner Ron got the pink bow then ran and got swift and avoided as many battles as possible and then went back and fought a bunch of trainers I'd skipped so that I had a more reliable move.

It cannot get thunderbolt. What fire blast does is if I can afford it I can get fire blast to help me beat Jasmine and pryce. With a high special and the charcoal this is the best option I feel for that point in the game.

The other problem is the tutor moves you can't get till after you beat the elite four so if I put off getting a fire move until after the elite four I literally am going to be stuck with some very limiting and horrible moves to get through the elite 4 fireblast at least gives me a very powerful special one hit knockout ability

1 of my first playthroughs ever on this Channel was Clefairy and Clefable line and it obliterated the game. Once you get by brock the pokemon can learn so many moves for type coverage its insane

Yeah the Champion's Rhydon is a great way to badge boost, I think they decided to see if you know about the Badge Boost Glitch and took away agility from Pidgeot, and decided to see if you'll pick up on Leer and Tail Whip giving you the boosts in your other stats. Then again the developers didn't intend on this to happen, but it is a funny "theory" of mine, it kinda makes sense in a way, but not really since the devs didn't intend to make it that way, this game is very broken, but that's why it's so unique and possibly the best of the first 3 gens. 😁😁😁

I wonder if Zap Cannon will be used on Red? It would be nice to paralyze the Snorlax and get a couple of full paralysis on Snorlax since he's beefy and can use rest.

I love how we're both doing Pokemon Crystal content! Gen 2 is so refreshing, it doesn't have natures and abilities like Gen 3, but it also has more Pokemon than Gen 1 and a fixed 6.25% crit rate unless you have high crit moves that double the crit rate to 12.5%! 251 Pokemon in Gen 2, God this is gonna take a while to complete this game on our channels. 🤣🤣🤣

@@jdsnerdverse I plan on doing a Solo Mew run next. I'm pretty sure with 100 in all stats this thing can beat Red at a level under 100 since Mewtwo did it at 75. Oh yeah Mewtwo can beat Pokemon Crystal on minimum battles, but I'm not willing to do minimum battles since I don't have the patience needed to pull off a win at the lowest level possible lol. I'm surprised you don't have more views than you do now considering how well edited the videos are and the thumbnails are incredible!

great video! started a little quickly, I can almost feel the rush you were in to get the video out. i was almost overwhelmed jumping straight into stats without a bit of a prediction or foreshadowing but you got a lot of info to cover. that being said I'd be fine with a 45+ minute video so you can keep the Rizz and the stats.
I do have a prediction video that released on Monday that goes over a lot of the predictions of these things. However my usual trend is to gradually go through the stats then the moveset and the team move set as we get through the first part of the game before we get to the first gym however with this pokémon I wanted to highlight how horrible metronome was so I wanted to get those things kind of done and out of the way so I can focus on that. so yeah a little bit different a little bit off the beaten path that feedback though is very valuable and I will adjust that in the future
I'm not sure if this has been said or if you figured it out since this episode. But Return can be given at Goldenrod Department Store by the lady that stands next to the guy on the TM floor on Sundays, your lead pokemon has to have a high friendship in order to be given the TM (this can be repeated to get infinite TM's each & every Sunday unless it was patched in a later version of the game)
This video was so long ago I don't remember it but it sounds like I didn't do return in this vid. I do know how to get it now. Little fun fact if u have a pokemon with very very low friendship as your first pokemon she will give u the move frustration.

Already play through I probably should have done that to be honest but all I did was just use metronome and go back and forth. I had to get to a higher level to get by Faulkner anyway so it felt like the best strategy
I did however as soon as a big Faulkner Ron got the pink bow then ran and got swift and avoided as many battles as possible and then went back and fought a bunch of trainers I'd skipped so that I had a more reliable move.
Can this thing get TBolt or Flamethrower by tutor? Feel like they're better answers over zap cannon or fire blast.
It cannot get thunderbolt. What fire blast does is if I can afford it I can get fire blast to help me beat Jasmine and pryce. With a high special and the charcoal this is the best option I feel for that point in the game.
The other problem is the tutor moves you can't get till after you beat the elite four so if I put off getting a fire move until after the elite four I literally am going to be stuck with some very limiting and horrible moves to get through the elite 4 fireblast at least gives me a very powerful special one hit knockout ability

@@DwunD016 and yeah thunderbolt would have been much better than Zack Cannon. It's less powerful but the accuracy alone is worth it. Pretty much makes Charizard and Blastoise obsolete against red

I don't think Cleffa could beat Red by itself even with Quick Claw at lv100, maybe Clefairy, but I definitely think Cleffable can do it!
1 of my first playthroughs ever on this Channel was Clefairy and Clefable line and it obliterated the game. Once you get by brock the pokemon can learn so many moves for type coverage its insane

Yeah the Champion's Rhydon is a great way to badge boost, I think they decided to see if you know about the Badge Boost Glitch and took away agility from Pidgeot, and decided to see if you'll pick up on Leer and Tail Whip giving you the boosts in your other stats. Then again the developers didn't intend on this to happen, but it is a funny "theory" of mine, it kinda makes sense in a way, but not really since the devs didn't intend to make it that way, this game is very broken, but that's why it's so unique and possibly the best of the first 3 gens. 😁😁😁
