Hi I have a Somfy movelite curtain but it’s not fully closing in the middle of the track! Everything was assembled up to the millimeter! The carrier moves very smoothly by hand during installation and when i program the motor the carrier fully close in the middle but when i save the memory and try to close it it doesn’t fully close ! There always a 3 cm gap ! Any idea?
Hi. Are these wave curtains? If so, try switching the motor off and closing the curtains by hand to see if the curtains spring back slightly. If they do there is a chance the cords have got wrapped round one or two of the glider wheels and this is resulting in the cords being too short. If this is the case you will need to remove the glider cord from the end of the track and unwrap the cord from the wheel. I hope this helps.

Please can the 6840 track be installed in any ceiling ( or has the 6840 track to be fitted to the “joists” especially if wanting interlined / blackout lined curtains
Hi. If you can locate the joists this is great, however if not then there are lots of different plaster board fixing options that will work. Please discuss with your local DIY store. Hi, I'm struugling to see how the brackets clip to the track. Your video is hard to see - white bracket, white table, presenterwearing light-coloured clothes clothes and hands infront of the fixing as its clipped in. When I clip the bracket into my track, it is not flush and not secure. I'm not an expert, or very confident! Please help with a close up photo.
Hi, thank-you for your message. It's a tilt and push action to clip the track securely into the bracket. You will hear it clip into position. It sounds like it hasn't been pushed in hard enough. Can you have 2 pieces of curtain on one rod?
Hi, you can have more than one section of fabric, you just need to make sure you have an even number of gliders on each section so the wave shape is fully formed. If you need some help with this let us know by email [email protected] as you don't want to cut an existing cord, as the curtain might not then cover the full width of the curtain.

I can't find anything for 74 inches from one side to the other. Everything is either too small (72 inches) or too big (in the 80s). And this even with the extendable feature. Any suggestions?

I'm likely not up to the challenge of trying to fit something like this to my plasterboard ceiling. I'm keen though to get the curtain as flush with the ceiling as possible to stop light getting into the bedroom. What curtain track product do you recommend with the smallest profile?

Can this pole be fixed to a bay ceiling and also can you use Eyelet headed curtains? Great video and very easy to understand how it works.
Hi, you can ceiling fix the Swish pole however you do need to use passing rings with the top fix passing brackets. Unfortunately there isn't a solution I'm aware of for a ceiling fix bay with eyelet curtains. You will have a much wider choice if your curtain have rings. How can I fix this securely into a plasterboard ceiling. The fixing screws are short and do not support the weight of the track and curtain.
Hi June. For plasterboard fixing you would need to purchase some special plasterboard fixings as the screws provided are only to be used for solid walls. Any DIY retailer will be able to help you with this.

Hi. As a rule of thumb if you use a multiple of 2.1, however we would recommend using the silent Gliss wave calculator to find the exact requirement based on your track, size of wave and hook spacing.

Hi Dan, yes this is the same effect as ripple fold. Different manufactures just uses different techniques to achieve this look and use different names to keep us retailers on our toes!

Hi Scott, not at the moment but if yo would like some advice please give us a call. Silent Gliss have launched some new tracks that can be recess fitted in recess profiles, so there is now a good offer for standard and motorised tracks.
