Two old friends from The Thames Valley, UK, are now living in California and Colorado. A lifelong fascination with music and friendship.
Looking to surprise and entertain each other with some new and classic tunes. Reaction Videos, but we have a plan!

This video is distinguished as one with both a great song/performance filmed in front of the WORST audience ever! 🤔
(with respect) you pommies have no idea (with respect) of what Cold Chisel means to the Australian psyche. Half the population would make Bow River the national anthem if they could.
Well the guy on the left can take his Charles Nelson Riley glasses and stick it up his you-know-what and go you-know-where! I HAVE SPOKEN!
During their final tour (after it was announced that Gord was dying of cancer), I was fortunate enough to attend a show on one of the two nights in my city. I captured a piece of this song (“It’s A Good Life”), one of my all-time TTH faves. (You’ve done a wonderful review here, gents!) To answer the question of what going to a Hip concert was like, you can get a sense from my messy video linked below. Sightlines aren’t much, but you can hear the crowd belting along to “Wheat Kings” and see the mutual love affair during Gord’s farewell comments at the end. Yes, some patrons “imbibed”, but it never felt anything other than one big love-in. Scenes like this were common across the country-this could have been any Canadian arena at any time during their run. Despite our regional differences, The Hip was universally loved. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqCZpaR8ZZvcZ7g.htmlsi=_yn4VVNE6SsmMiu5
I am 74. There were 2 entire years that everyone seemed to be kind and gentle with each other. Accepting of each other. I will always cherish that time. People felt obligated to hide their nastiness 'cause it just wasn't cool, man.
That was my favorite Santana piece. Love Smooth too.
Angels LIVE 2000 is an amazing performance by John and Lisa Edwards, one of his long time backup singers; they harmonize so well together!
Do ☝️😊
Neil Finn sounds cool. Pug Ranch sounds lovely but damn! Do u remember what it's like to look after a puppy? A singular puppy? God this biz venture sounds like a lot of work. Good luck.
Glad I wasn’t the only one
We have you Nickleback, Celine Dion and Rush but we Canadians kept Tragically Hip all to ourselves.
It's a pity they are only known worldwide for Beds Are Burning, studio version. I am a big fan, and my unpopular opinion is that their studio sound does not represent 0,5% of their true energy and what they really got to deliver to the listener. Gotta se and listen them live to grasp the real Oils. If they were british or americans probably would be praised as the top 10 biggest of all time.
I have this album on vinyl - wonder if it's worth anything?
🎉🎉🎉. Best ever.
Humble pie live at Filmore west.

crying KD tribute to roy oberson will bring a tear in your eye
Peter Frampton went to high school with David Bowie... Frampton's father was one of Bowie's favorite teachers...

How can you not enjoy the music rock lives
Murder Ballads album is a classic.
Still doing the rounds. Great night of rock. Played at Lucky13 Garage Moorabbin
I was there! One of the best nights of my life! Prince4Ever! 💜🎸🤘
So glad I saw the original band in concert before Andy left the band, wow so much fun it was. Nick had inspired me to take up keyboards, the wonderful sounds coming from that man was crazy haha.
The Aussie pub rock scene was the best. Great bands, great music, sweat and cigarette smoke. It was destroyed by pubs replacing bands with poker machines and $#it like that.
10:35 some kid from Frankston just saw this and called out to his mum, "is that you and auntie Dawn?" 🤣🤣🤣
Next video John singing Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar
So, I guess you continued the band after, David St.Hubbins and Nigel Tufnell left?
Gillan sounds classically trained. Great performance . It is not an easy song to sing.
Gillan is a classic!
Dave Grohl makes it a point to encourage young musicians every chance he gets. He is a rock legend who keeps his feet firmly planted on the ground.
Seems like the real deal for sure
I agree.
When Mick Fleetwood asked Neil to join FM for this tour, he also had Stevie ask Mike Campbell from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Mike played the solo electric part on “Landslide” in this video.
Oh nice thanks for sharing
I like RH’s version but you would have to be tone deaf if you can’t hear that Prince did it much better.
Last mention as I’m not going to grovel but I am disappointed. Allman Brothers tied to the wiping post Filmore East plus the Mountain session are two must listen. Take care. Cheers.
Great song! Check out the studio cut, you'll be glad you did. Thanks, guys. Loved your reaction.
The live version is better .
There are no words. A complete masterpiece.
A bit of English folk, and then it hits him :)
I don't think the intro which goes from funky to reggae to blues, or the singing that leads up to the solo and gives it all meaning, should be disregarded.
I always think the goo-goo ga-ga etc. word play represents the publics negative undercurrent conversation demeaning radio as TV was being the great new entertainment for the masses.
❤
Watch Siren by The Divinyls, OMG!
The Beatles still bringing magic to the world 60 years on
Bit jazz, blues, rock even swing frank can play anything, one of my favorite players.
