Great video Dr Monitto. Every chiropractor should be trained to use the “Y-strap”, it delivers results in a fraction of time.
Thank you Tim for your comments and for watching. The Y-strap changed my life and my patients! 👍👍
I think ive just found my favourite chiropractor on thecweb💞 so gentle, professional and explains it very well. What a great Dr!
The patient sounds like he's from Canada

Thank you Dr Paul!!! Three decades of computer work (and play) have caught up with me and I have shoulder impingement, chronic pain, and forward head posture. I'm hoping it's not too late to work on this so I invested in a foam roller and tried the exercises. The third one, the passive one, felt difficult but somehow relieving. Thank you! I'll make these exercises a daily practice.
Thank you for your comments and for watching. I hope these help. If you do them faithfully, you’ll see progress in 2 weeks. 👍👍

Is there any evidence in the literature supporting that bad posture is connecting with neck pain? Also it advisable to start exercise and endurance at the neck muscle to solve the problem and reduce pain?
Bad posture can significantly contribute to neck pain. Here are some common causes and potential solutions: ### Causes: 1. **Forward Head Posture**: When the head is positioned in front of the body's center of gravity, it increases strain on the neck muscles. 2. **Text Neck**: Looking down at phones, tablets, or computers for prolonged periods. 3. **Poor Ergonomics**: Workstations that are not set up correctly can force awkward positions. 4. **Sedentary Lifestyle**: Lack of movement and prolonged sitting can weaken postural muscles. 5. **Improper Sleeping Positions**: Sleeping in positions that strain the neck. ### Solutions: 1. **Ergonomic Adjustments**: - **Computer Screen**: Ensure the top of your computer screen is at eye level. - **Chair**: Use a chair that supports your lower back and allows your feet to rest flat on the floor. - **Keyboard and Mouse**: Keep them at a height that allows your arms to be at a 90-degree angle. 2. **Posture Correction**: - **Standing**: Keep your shoulders back and your weight evenly distributed on both feet. - **Sitting**: Sit back in your chair with your back straight and shoulders relaxed. 3. **Regular Breaks and Movement**: - Take short breaks every hour to stand, stretch, and move around. 4. **Exercises**: - **Neck Stretches**: Gently stretch the neck muscles several times a day. - **Strengthening Exercises**: Focus on exercises that strengthen the neck and shoulder muscles. - **Postural Exercises**: Practice exercises that promote good posture, like yoga or Pilates. 5. **Proper Sleeping Setup**: - Use a pillow that supports the natural curve of your neck. - Sleep on your back or side rather than on your stomach. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31366294/. Thanks for your response, but contemporary literature supports that there is no evidence behind the theory that spine pain is caused by bad posture, or by bad bending, sitting, sleeping or standing. If you want I can send researches and evidence based article to read. Maybe it's time to rethink!
knowledge > force
Thanks for watching!
3:15 you were trying to help him get up but he didn't see it. I can feel the awkwardness through my bones
Wish this superb professional chiropractor was in the UK 🇬🇧 to help with my mother's (78 years) posture and balance. He could do so much for her to keep her mobile. But not all chiropractors are as good as this one!
Thank you Roland again for your comments, compliments, and for watching my channel. If you’re ever in the states, come and visit me.👍👍
This guy is great 👍 very professional. He always does the thorough assessment! If I were living in the USA 🇺🇸 I'd definitely trust this guy to help with my chronic back pain.
Thank you Roland for your kind comments and for watching! 🙌
This guy is good, but--in my experience--he needs to check for any pelvic problems, before working on the dorsals or C-spine subluxations. With a lower ilium on the right, I suspect R Sacroiliac involvement. If the pelvic stuff is not handled, the upper subluxations are likely to recur pretty quickly. He's absolutely right about icing on the neck.
Thank you for your detailed comments, and for watching! 🙌
Ahh...one of a few chiropractic videos where the patient doesn't dress like a whore.
Did you make adjustments to his diet to address the vitamin D deficiency?
Yes we did. His rickets occurred mostly when he was a young child but now that they know the cause, his vitamin D levels are back up within normal limits. He no longer has rickets, but you can see it affected his growth. Thank you for watching and for commenting.👍👍
The patented tried and true 5 min full body adjustment 😂😅. You couldn't adjust a hand in 5 minutes, let alone a person's full body.
I can adjust a whole body in less then 5 minutes. Experience and education tend to do this but you wouldn't know since you got none.
In fact one could argue that you can't "adjust" any part of the body at all. There is no evidence that joints go "out of alignment" and are subsequently "fixed" by a chiropractor.
@mikeb9638 So sad. I was hoping that this game would release and we could enjoy playing it together like old times. Alas, times are changing for the worst. The global leaders have ate all the turkey and have left us with ticks for breakfast and armadillos for dinner. I love you man!
@@Batis_Patikilye I'll take a gram of whatever you're smoking 😂
@@mikeb9638 There is evidence. You simply have not read it. Which is normal. You can find scientific litterature using google ya know. Do not spread misinformation.
Safe, professional chiropractor! I'd trust this guy with my back, which is very painful, and years of opiates have not cured of course.
Thank you, Roland, for your comments, complements, and for watching and subscribing.
This chiropractor did a thorough examination before manipulation. I'd trust this guy to really help. He probably gives little exercises to do at home too. He's very patient centred by being such a good communicator describing what he's doing and why. He is always checking in with the patient. Professional job, sir 👏 😊
Thank you, Roland for your comments and for watching.

Weight loss would also help tremendously
Yes I agree. Because of his inability to walk, it makes it difficult to exercise and diet alone isn't always enough to lose weight.
@jackowens8322, if your intent is to motivate someone to lose weight, then your tone of voice and choice of phrasing will not do it. I can almost 100% guarantee it. If you want this patient to feel like crap and like he is worthless because he is overweight, you will accomplish it with your suggestion. The good doctor is between a rock and a hard place. As he noted, he would like to see him lose weight for the sake of his health. Weight is such a hot button issue that if he says almost anything, he risks the patient giving up completely only to never seek the medical help he needs. By saying nothing, he risks the patient not doing anything to help himself as well. The doc’s best hope is to not say anything at least for a while, keep adjusting the patient, and just maybe he will get enough mobility back that he will be motivated to continue improving his health. Every overweight person feels like they are seen by physicians, whether medical or otherwise, as a weight number and not as someone who deserves to be treated as a human being. This doctor is treating his patient as someone who deserves not to be abandoned because of his weight, and that is the best way to help him see he deserves to work toward an optimal weight.
@@ms.booklover2676 Very well said. Thank you for your compassion, comments and for watching!
