    You don’t need a spare tire on an type-s. It’s self seal.. made on purpose

  • @onesimpledad
    @onesimpledad17 сағат бұрын

    @stephanek1786 Well, self-sealing tires don't work if you hit a curb and damage the side walls. Once, I had to leave a car in a parking lot overnight on a jack stand when the wife hit a curb and the car did not come with a spare. Well, thanks for watching

    @@onesimpledad your video is well done and definitely helpful. I was giving the reason why Honda didn’t include it. There is also a weight reduction on the line. I guess those people that can afford a type-s can afford a towing service 😂

    How reliable are these cars? Old lady wants one

  • @onesimpledad
    @onesimpledadКүн бұрын

    @Ryskyguy Porsche Cayenne is great. Mines a 2016 GTS with 86k miles. I've had minor issues like the drains getting clogged and then setting off a bunch of warning lights due to it. Which almost fried my AMP. Then AC blower went probably because AC drain was clogged. The major issue I've had was transfer case $3k but under warranty, and the leather dashboard started to detach and peel away $10k. I haven't fixed it yet and probably won't. Honestly, if you want a reliable SUV, Acura MDX is the most reliable SUV I've ever owned. And the Type S Advance is really nice, but like all vehicles, they have their quirks. I would still buy a Porsche Cayenne again but most likely an S or Base model. Well, thanks for watching

    Thank you for the great video. I was wondering if you know of a way to test the blower, before I start swapping parts without proper diagnosis. Mine went intermittent during a very heavy rainstorm. About 7 or 8 times on and off, and then totally gone. But then during testing/diagnosis, blower suddenly came on. Restart and it's gone again, just to tease me. Just hoping there is a sure test (while in the car or outside) for it, to make sure it's the blower, and not an electrical gremlin in the harness. Just apply 12 volts directly to it? I'm pretty handy on watercooled Porsches from the 80's, but not familiar/confident with this electronics-intensive system, in comparison. Thanks in advance

    @Sh0ckwaveProductions it's not, but it is.... as soon as the blades grab hold of the lawn, it starts to take off like it's self-propelled... if it has nothing to grab on to... then you are pushing it. very easy to use... easier than an aerator

    Drove a stander scag for nearly a year. You'll be spinning around in no time. Two best tips I can think of for any new comers which may seem obvious: First, never go over your same tracks, the machine is heavy and will impact the grass if you keep riding the same spots. Second, once you get used to the tank style steering... never allow a tire to pivot in place. Also, we used to do wheelies for like thirty feet.

    Idk what my door's problem is. When it sticks the upper roller disk moves up and down and back and forth like the hole its tamped in has gotten bigger allowing the entire roller pin to move. The door is wonky or something who knows. Whatever is causing the roller pin to become loose from its place inside the door's edge is the original issue. I noticed the roller pin moves up and down a good inch when sliding across the track I think it should be more level maybe.

    I am so appreciative for this video. When I moved out of the nest, i took one of my dad’s air compressors with me, which I primarily used for my bike. But I am a noob when it comes to car tires so I would drive to a local oil change garage that would inflate them for free. When that place shut down I started looking for alternatives. Figured getting an inflation gun attachment and learning to do it myself would be the most convenient in the long run. But i got VERY confused on how i was supposed to use and read the gauge.
