In the schematic shown, the collector is only about 6 milliamps. The LED won't be very bright. Reducing R2 to 1k will give you a brighter LED without exceeding any current limits.

This circuit does not work because it shorts the power supply when button is pushed for OFF. A very shoddy design that should not have been made public :(

Tried it & double checked it unfortunately it doesn't work,it only turns on when you press & when you release it doesn't stay on😢😢

Yes, this ckt will work on 12v. This can be used without Relay with using a power transistor or triac etc. Output will not only gnd.

Depending on the capacitor and resistor value. Easily up to 30 min and also more.
O circuito é funcional , mas com uma falha grave para desligar o relé que está comandando a carga , o relé 2 fecha curto na alimentação fazendo com que a chave de pressão normalmente aberta vai durar pouco tendo os seus contatos comprometidos em pouco tempo de uso.

You shouldn't have the current to the motor running through the switches. Better to use two SPDT relays.

Please check by changing the freqStep. Or change the value dim=>128 ( steps for dimming ).

hello! interesting circuit, does it work (as it is) with 5 volt power source (i have a 5 volt relaty already) ? do you know if energizing the circuit will activate the relay as initial state, i need the relay is activated only by pressing the switch button. thanks.

you need a third relay, triggered by the NO pin of relay two to open circuit the supply of relay one. but by doing it this way, the switch needs it's own supply so it's power supply doesn't get cut by relay 3

@@circuitspedia I live in a remote area where electricity sometimes goes out. Whenever black out happens, the water supply becomes cloudy. To help my pre-filter, I want to install an auto-flush whenever the electricity returns. I thought of connecting a relay to a NC solenoid valve. I do not know the difference of a one-shot to a one-shot trailing edge. 😅

Where is reset button switch?
Reset button can be connected between pin 15 and vcc through a 1k resistor. Use a pushbutton as reset button.
