Correct me if am Im wrong but is it not normal, that Light assumed, that Ray investigated him? They both were on the same bus and he most likely already said the higher ups, that he showed his identification to Light Yagami. So it is logical that Light assume that Ray was his investigation person.

well, the conversation felt like Light was repeating something that both of them already had known. They don't have to show us that part. L has tons of reasons to suspect Kira (without any hard evidence though) but I do not think that Light might make such an obivous mistake to tell L something that he shouldn't have known.

Nah this anime was good but also annoying. Light would do something so smart and then the next scene would cut to L already knowing the plan and scenario that Light just did even though L had no proof Light did it. Was the most annoying shit ever. Felt like we basically saw the same scene TWICE because Light would do his plan and then L literally next scene would explain it even though US the viewer already know because WE just saw it lol

.... That's the deduction. L said before the clip that light is the main suspect, then said fbi agents investigated everyone connected to the police. One agent then dies after behaving oddly. Light is connected to the police in multiple ways, and is the the main suspect out of all those connected. The ONLY conclusion you can draw is that ray was investigating him specifically. This isn't a slip up. It's light just knowing playing dumb isn't an option if he wants to get in on the meetings. It's a safe deduction.

Best part is that even if he points this out, Light could always play it off as deductive/inductive reasoning. "You wouldn't have mentioned Raye Penber if he wasn't relevant. And you already mentioned I was a suspect. So since the FBI agents were investigating police families and I'm the Chief's son, you probably mentioned him because he was investigating me."

L main goal was to prove light was kira and he failed doesnt matter if he figure it out needed concrete proof..Remember its not what you know its whay you could provr beyond a reasonalbe doubt and L lost he couldnt prove Light was kira..Light goal was to get under L and kill him by any means without revealing himself he succeeded.Light made plenty of mistakes because of arrogance and kill people he shouldnt have touched but he liked the challenges within each death

You're all 10 IQ. He would obviously say that he was being investigated for two reasons. 1. If he doesn't say it and L finds out later it's even more suspicious 2. He doesn't know if L already knows this as L certainly could so he assumes he knows and also shows off his deductive reasoning skills to L to keep up his persona

Well, that’s not a theory, that’s the whole point of the show. L wasn’t gonna point out Light as Kira without any sort of proof, even though he did know Light was Kira. That’s why he had to play against Kira to make him make a mistake. After a lot of thinking, L decides that he needs to die to let know Near that Light is Kira, ‘cause he knows that Near is the only one capable of getting that proof and pushing Light to the limit.

Duh.... That's where the leads ended, the only reason L was convinced that Light might not be Kira is that Light was genuine in his efforts to help the investigation... He was convinced it was not acting because he didn't know the extent to which the rules of the notebook goes.

Since the scene at the cafe L knew Light was Kira. Him mentioning that gods of death obviously do not exist gave enough information to L that Light was extremely narcissistic and a hint of the supernatural powers of Kira. Let's remember that L always considered the probable existance of shinigamis since Kira mentioned them in the letters.

Light already got caught when he killed rey pebhar and his wife because of this two ✌ mistakes he fell into L hands and L believes the light is kira after rey phebar and his gf death L fixed camera and wire tap in his room this proves that L from the beginning he strongly believes light is kira but he don't hve strong evidence thats the case both L and light are super smart 🙂

lol, Light saying that Ray was following him is literally just him finishing L's thought - L clearly already indicated that that was the case by explicitly naming Ray as the one to exhibit weird behavior, meaning that he was the one who had a run in with Kira. This whole scene is L telling Light why he suspects him to be Kira (which he has already told Light at this point), so if a.) L's suspicion is based off of him thinking Rays weird behavior before his death is due to him having a run in with Kira and b.) if L thinks that Light might be Kira then *obviously* Ray was the one following Light - there is nothing about this whole interaction that is Light slipping up, it's literally just him making an incredibly obvious deduction that L was already implying...
