Hey incontrario motu, which painting is that? By whom?
Wahnsinn! Herzergreifend.
Inefable.
Version d'anthologie...❤
😇✨✨Thanks1000💐🙏💫
Fantastic performance of one of my favourite symphonies. It reminds me of a time in my life that breaks my heart but Haydn and Bernstein make everything better xxxxx

His Eroica with the RAI Orchestra of Rome is very good.. I have it on and Olymbic LP. Probably 1953,
This is jaw dropping excellent !
he reminds me that its ok to make mistakes
So beautiful.
Wunderschön.🙏🎼🎹🌹🕯 Vielen Dank!
Such an under-performed and under-rated violin concerto, intense and beautiful.

Quite good. Hoomeyow!!
Richter is like a military Commander in this piece He orders the rhythms to move Colors speeds orchestrate in the pieces Very exciting
4:49-5:30 and 9:03-9:58 gives so much incidental music vibe. I love it so much.
Just gorgeous. One of the best Kreisleriana's ever recorded. One of the things I so love about this piece is that it plays differently in the hands of all great pianists. Mysterious, quirky, extremely beautiful -- each pianist has his take. But Cortot manages all those elements with exceeding clarity and subtlety. That he leaves you wondering what the piece is, and is about, is his ultimate triumph!
Schuricht conducts this symphony wonderfully. Hoomeyow!!
Thank you!
Böhm conducts on private label the 34 with ndr sinfonie from 1956.
O "toque" de Giles é inconfundível! Bravo Handel e Giles!
Bella interpretazione e cristallina.😊❤
I used the other ending: the one Clara Schumann recommended. The first is not only more difficult; it's also a lot harder for most listeners to understand.
delicate,
Thank you very much for sharing this priceless gem. The performance was spectacular and extremely powerful, probably one of the greatest interpretations of this neglected masterpiece.
Such a rendition! Erotica alongside Ninth is the greatest of all the great masterpieces.
Great pianist
Esecuzione magistrale ed ispirata. Ciascuna nota è chiaramente udibile, nulla va perso.
No me gustó. Falta claridad. La grabación no ayuda.
What a unique performance by the marvelous pianist Samson Francois!!!
20:29 It is as if his violin has ‘perfect pitch’…otherwise flawless..!
Furtwangler the Master of transitions and many other things !
Thoughtfully, plays the meaning and essence of the work, however, somewhat “roughly”, in a sense, neglecting the sound aura of the instrument...🧐👏
This will raise hackles but for me Cortot realizes the playful Florestan side of Schumann while seldom achieving the seriousness of Eusebius. That may seem simplistic, even glib, but I’ve been wrestling with Cortot for almost sixty years. His magic is wondrous. Still, I don’t detect a great soul. This has nothing to do with Vichy. I revere many Nazis as musicians, not people, including Elly Ney. However, Cortot’s failure in politics may cast light on his essential shallowness. This is a minority view; it may even be singular. To put it in perspective, I relish the widely different David dances of Fanny Davies (sadly incomplete), Thierry de Brunhoff, Charles Rosen (the later Dutch recording) and especially Anatol Ugorski. Cortot is good for Papillons. It’s telling that we have no Fantasie apart from the chaotic masterclass excerpts. Okay, I’ll now duck!
I ALWAYS come back to G L for what I think is the closest interpretation of Bach's works to the source......... Bach's Soul and Mind are not only in Leonhardt's Soul and Mind, they ARE his..... small wonder he is a guiding light and example of so many distinguished and brilliant students. The Good Lord knows how JSB's very essence reached those Solar Heights where wings - do not melt.
BRAVOOOOOO ❤❤❤
grim looking Du ! ....where's the joy, Gus? I've been with the professors, and they didn't care for your looks......
ALWAYS Great.....Bravo from Acapulco!
Favorite version for me
