Very nice control with the machine. Very well explained. Thanks for sharing
How can I order one!?
I just ran across your channel and this video. I was really glad to see it. I have a brand-new Cobra NP10 and I just can't figure out how to adjust everything! There are very few videos out there for that particular skiver and I'm so frustrated because I have a $2700 machine that I am struggling to learn. I don't understand why the machines do not come with a manual. Anyway, I'm so happy to have found you and will enjoy your videos!
I understand your struggle! Even with more information out there about the NP4 there was a really big learning curve for me. Are you a member of the Facebook group Tips and Tricks with Cobra Class Leatherworking Equipment? I know they can help you with specifics for your machine.
That is beautiful! Such craftsmanship ❤
Thanks Rosemary! Hope your summer is going great.
Thanks for the video and tips!
You're welcome, and thanks for watching!
Get some long tweezers to pull that out. Also loosen the extractor tool to help prevent the leather from getting tangled. When shoving long pieces, make sure the leather drops down through the hole while still a short in length.
Thanks! I had thought about a long pair of tweezers, but with leather, I know I won't ding the blade. I had to laugh that I never really have trouble with it packing up, but I just happened to be making another video 😄
Also, I still want to take your class one day @shannonmoniquehandbags 😊
@@33RanchSaddlery thank you and they are available.
Beautiful work!
Thank you very much!
Considering the surgery that she had on her arm, she's doing an excellent job. I would like to definitely order one of her custom belts
Thank you, I would love to make you a belt!
Cool wallet but I hate this song
Thanks, and I'm not a fan of the music either. I just try to pick the least worst of what's available 🤣
Nice to see real art!!
Thank you!
🙈 'Promo SM'
Interesting. Sounds like a great design. I agree that 24” would be great
This is still one of my most used tools, carried from bench to bench. The only ruler I don't use for measuring 😂 (since it's metric).
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice bell skiver. Would be fun to
They are handy if you can get past the learning curve.
Nice tooling!

Killer work...it all looks great Good look'n pup too. ✌️
Thank you! Every shop needs a good fur buddy, and he would be happy to be paid in tennis balls 😀
Hello Friend.😋😋😋😋
Those are beautiful. I have 2 questions I hope you will answer. How did you sew the cellphone pocket on and how did you secure the D rings? Is the top one attached in the back to the concho and did you rivet the bottom one on then sew the decorative piece on the front over them? Thank you.
Love the work can't stand the singing
Thank you for the compliment. I never know what kind of music to add to these 😂
You have great talent! That's great art! 🤗🤎🧡
Thank you! I love to create artistic things that can be used every day 😊
Very pretty! 😊
Thank you!
Took that woman all day to cut those strips out.. lol😂 Dam she cutting that one slow as hell
Hey thanks for boosting my video by commenting. Yeah I'm slow, just coming back from busting my wrist into several pieces, but hey, all that matters is that you got to troll someone's video today.
Thanks
Keep going 💪🏻
😊👍👍
These are beautiful 😍
Thank you ❤️
Such craftsmanship and wonderful classic machinery.
Thank you! We love those old machines.
What’s a Buck Roll? 🤔
Buck rolls are a piece that can be added onto a western saddle to help hold you into the seat in case your horse make a quick movement or bucks. Fun fact - they are stuffed with wool that is cut from the scraps of sheepskin used to line the skirts of the saddle.
I would love to see more of your work. Do you have a website?
Yes we sure do! You can find us at www.33ranchandsaddlery.com
Beautiful craftsmanship 👍🏼
Thank you 😊
Boa noite Que produto é esse que você está passando neste couro ficou muito top muito bonito tem como você passar o nome desse produto aí
Thank you for watching! The products used are Fiebings antique paste and Fiebings Pro Dye.
I wonder if this tool would work with material ? ;)
I think it would work great on fabrics with a bit more substance such as denim or canvas. With lighter fabrics it would probably depend on your surface. Thanks for watching!!
What craftsmanship! I love the up close camera work. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Rosmary!!
Beautiful carving! Love your work.
Thank you!
Thank you for watching and please bear with me as I learn to edit. It will get better, I promise 😁
I am working on editing a video tutorial right now and it is time consuming for sure. Not sure what you are using for a video editor but I will shoot you a message w/ info on what I am using in case you are interested. It is a free open source program.
Very NICE! 🇺🇸👍👍🤠
Thank you so much @Gary J
Very helpful. And beautiful stamping. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Lacey, and you are very welcome!!
Oh wow ,we have a dog named Chichi.
I would not have thought of that as a common name. Must be reserved for the good ones!
Looked much nicer before the antique
Hey, thanks for watching. I wasn't really a fan of the color, but the only opinion that matters is the one with the $
Good tip.
Thank you! The little things make all the difference.
They are magnificent!!
I work leather and I must say that you do very good work. I have had good luck using buffalo as well as elk. The two tone twisted fringe is nicely done . It is the little details that mean so much. Great job !
Thank you so much @Stan McConnell it's always great to hear from other leatherworkers!!
How do you get the fringe to twist like that?
You have built the finest pair I have ever seen and I have made many myself. Please keep up the good work. We need good craft people more than ever. The very best to you. Stay awesome!
You put satin shene down before you antique?
Yes, I am using it as a resist which makes for a more subtle color change since the antique is more easily removed, leaving it only in the impressions. My favorite product is RTC by Bee Natural Leather Care.
