Maverick does give a fair amount of airtime for its petite size! It varies depending on where you sit! It’s not a tall coaster, but maverick is a WILD ride! I love it! 😁🎢🎢🎢

@@mitchbeachfun Hi Mitch, from the online videos Maverick is not tall but packs a punch. After the first drop there are 3 or 4 left to right twisty turns then it go up what looks like a great airtime hill. I miss Cedar Point, but I only ride coasters and my body pain stopped me from riding. It took six years, twice a year, 3 days each time of riding in pain to realize I had to let them go. After I stopped riding I went to Cedar Point and stayed in my hotel and I was miserable, unhappy and sad. So I stopped spending &1,200 for 3 days renting a car, getting a room at the breakers, and food and games. My last trip there all I did was play the games and ride the train. Well, that's about it, thanks for being my friend. And as always, KEEP ENJOYING YOUR VAN LIFE ADVENTURE. @Mitchbeachfun

@@mitchbeachfun Thankyou for being my friend and forgiving me for fibbing about the last time I went to CP. I'm 64 so I have ridden coasters that are no longer there. Like the "Jumbo Jet", Google it sometimes. It Sat at the front of the park. I really miss riding coasters. But I accepted over 15 years ago that I had to stop because I would ride from 8:00am (hotel early entrance) till midnight. I took 2 breaks a day back in my room to eat a sandwich and shower and go back out for the night. I miss the good ole days. That's probably why I have a touch of depression, lol. So I watch coasters on You Tube TV and remember the good ole days. You're still young so you have decades left to still ride. Please give me a couple more months to get over my guilt of fibbing to a fantastic new online friend. You're a good man Mitch. @Mitchbeachfun

Let’s go ride it! 😁…please do not feel bad about the ‘Fibbing’ at all! It does not bother me at ALL :) we are sooo the same! I will ride coasters ALLL day too from open to close! Hi Mitch, I love light houses. We have an Island park here in Detroit called "Belle Isle" If you Google "Detroit's Belle Isle Lighthouse" you may see a bench where I used to sit every morning and look at the light house, the Detroit River, and zip coffee at 6:00 am. Have fun buddy. @Mitchbeachfun

The first time I was there was when the Millennium Force first opened. It was a thrill! This visit, so many years later, we took our almost 18yo daughter. She couldn’t believe how big CP was and how many incredible rides they have. It was a treat for her after 2 separate trips for college visits in various parts of the country. 😊

It blew my mind back then, now they are sooo much taller! I still LOVE millennium and Magnum to this day! What a great park! I love that place! 😁

The old version was just like Ka! This new version is a whole different experience! I love Ka! With the triple launch on Top Thrill 2 this is a different kind of ride now. I hope it reopens sometime soon! It closed shortly after it opened in May! :(

Yes! With an asterisk! It reopened as Top Thrill 2 in May for three weeks, then it closed for undisclosed mechanical reasons, and it’s been closed ever since! Hope it will reopen soon! The new version is awesome!

I am actually VERY SCARED of sharks too!! I grew up swimming in the Great Lakes! My house was near Lake Erie. We didn’t have to worry about sharks there!! So I totally relate to your fear!! 🦈

Hi Mitch, I love that rustic/ wooden restroom. And the boardwalk is fabulous. I love beaches, but I'm terrified of swimming, lol. When I get in pools, I can swim but I keep my eyes closed and I don't breath. Decades ago a friend told me "Child that is not swimming" lol. It's funny how some things stay with us for decades. That 1 launch was indeed more shocking right at the start! But this one really builds up to that epic backwards launch and the final top hill launch! I love it! Hope it reopens soon so everyone can experience it!

Top Thrill 2 opened in May 2024 after it was remodeled from Top Thrill Dragster. But it was only open to the public for like 2 weeks and then they closed it because of mechanical issues. They are currently fixing it, but it has not reopened yet.

They use the moonlight to guide them at night, and the white flashlight light confuses their directional instincts is what I’ve heard!

OMG! You are the first person to point out that I called in Millennium Force by accident! Whoopsies! I LOVE Magnum! It opened when I was young and it was epic when I rode it at age 12 in 1992! It was the tallest coaster back then! Sorry to disrespect you Magnum! 🤣

Hi Mitch, I love light houses. We have an Island park here in Detroit called "Belle Isle" If you Google "Detroit's Belle Isle Lighthouse" you may see a bench where I used to sit every morning and look at the light house, the Detroit River, and zip coffee at 6:00 am. Have fun buddy. @Mitchbeachfun

The first time I was there was when the Millennium Force first opened. It was a thrill! This visit, so many years later, we took our almost 18yo daughter. She couldn’t believe how big CP was and how many incredible rides they have. It was a treat for her after 2 separate trips for college visits in various parts of the country. 😊

It blew my mind back then, now they are sooo much taller! I still LOVE millennium and Magnum to this day! What a great park! I love that place! 😁

The old version was just like Ka! This new version is a whole different experience! I love Ka! With the triple launch on Top Thrill 2 this is a different kind of ride now. I hope it reopens sometime soon! It closed shortly after it opened in May! :(

Yes! With an asterisk! It reopened as Top Thrill 2 in May for three weeks, then it closed for undisclosed mechanical reasons, and it’s been closed ever since! Hope it will reopen soon! The new version is awesome!

I am actually VERY SCARED of sharks too!! I grew up swimming in the Great Lakes! My house was near Lake Erie. We didn’t have to worry about sharks there!! So I totally relate to your fear!! 🦈

Hi Mitch, I love that rustic/ wooden restroom. And the boardwalk is fabulous. I love beaches, but I'm terrified of swimming, lol. When I get in pools, I can swim but I keep my eyes closed and I don't breath. Decades ago a friend told me "Child that is not swimming" lol. It's funny how some things stay with us for decades. That 1 launch was indeed more shocking right at the start! But this one really builds up to that epic backwards launch and the final top hill launch! I love it! Hope it reopens soon so everyone can experience it!

Top thrill two never closed top thrill dragster did and it was made into top thrill two
Top Thrill 2 opened in May 2024 after it was remodeled from Top Thrill Dragster. But it was only open to the public for like 2 weeks and then they closed it because of mechanical issues. They are currently fixing it, but it has not reopened yet.
Why are flashlights harmful to turtles?
They use the moonlight to guide them at night, and the white flashlight light confuses their directional instincts is what I’ve heard!
