    Ummmm, what about the certification standards? No mention of that ?? The triple 8 comes in a certified and a non certified version that both look preety much the same but have diffent price points , a thing to concider when buying a triple 8 , you want the certified one and the pro tech, well that model has been tested and it flexes to the point that the helmet itself will crush your head on impact and is not certified. So buy either non certified helmet and you may as well be wearing a baseball cap instead. Guys and gals , best tooking for a helmet that has been double certified for not only a bike as per say but BMX and skate as bike helmets are designed for forward impact but BMX and skate helmets have been designed for hard impact in extreme sports and will give you protction front and rear and has u dergone rigorous testing to get a certificate for both. A brand cant just say they are certified, its independently done to meet the safty standereds of the country you are buy it from government's safty guildlines. What may pass in the US, may not pass in Australia.. keep that in mind. There is another certifications to concider , dose this helmet have "MIPS technology" that is a technology thats been used in motorbike helmets for quiet some time that has been now scaled down to work in sporting helmets. It allows the helmet to kind of roll withing it self yet your head and the outer of the helmet stays fixed if fitted properly. This is for no matter what side the impact comes from , the mips portion disperses the force of the impact to not go in just the direction it came from , in turn spreads it out , lessening the blows force over all and this will make your helmet triple certified poviding it has the BMX and skate certifications for your country. We only get one brain so please use it when selecting a helmet. The more certifications the better to protect it. Do real research! This video is missleading regardless of their outcome as no scientific data has been mentioned AT ALL ! When buying, ask is it certified , how many does it have and for what?

    Ha ha...I'm a long way from being a good coach! If you are making the new beginning then you have the step up easy. The step up is not as tough as it looks...not really much worse than the two prior - just don't touch the brakes maybe even one crank just to be sure, pull up on the front and your over it.

    I spent this morning trying to get as many of these down . I didn’t try the whale tail but managed jumps 1 to 6 and didn’t have time to try the massive step up. For the first step up ( like jump 3) are you flat out with no brakes?

  • @randilly02
    @randilly022 жыл бұрын

    Whale tail is easier than you might think. Find someone to follow first time just for speed test. By massive step up, I assume you don't mean the left line with the bigger spine but rather the step up to before the road gap. You do have to pull up for it just a bit. If you have not touched the brakes you can make it over but many do a crank or two just because it looks harder then it is looking at it. It has plenty of landing so no worry about going too fast. The next one road gap is actually easier to overjump if not careful so once you make the step up and barely make it, you will have plenty of speed for the road gap. Good luck and maybe see you out there sometime.

Plus a fantastic patio, food, beverages, and sometimes live music. Worth going just to see what Bogus has to offer. BTW...my crew I was with are pretty much at the half century mark + so the greens would be no problem for the youth like yourself as long as comfortable on single track.
