Women in Entertainment

Women in Entertainment

Women in Entertainment (501c3) launched in 2015 to bring together forward-thinkers from all areas of the entertainment industry to explore a variety of topics that greatly impact women: from human rights and women’s leadership, to storytelling across platforms and empowering the next generation of women to emerge as creative powerhouses. Incubated as a program at ArcLight Cinemas, the founders saw incredible growth in the first year and quickly developed the program as its own nonprofit organization to reach women across the country working in and aspiring to work in the entertainment industry.

Our programming is designed to spark a broader, more transparent dialogue that focuses on current and emerging topics with analysis and depth that has not yet been explored by a dedicated program. Together, we seek to find creative answers to the challenges facing women in the entertainment industry. WIE is a place of action, not accolades. We believe that when one of us rises, we all rise.

shame she like's ignoring and making small children cry, these people are so blind about Emelia. No true words are ever spoken, ask my daughter what she thinks of her after a "meet and greet"

Melissa Benoist's " Girl On The Bus" received bad reviews on HBO Max. Not good because Melissa Benoist is producer of her new show on stresming service. Sad news to hear.

Did the people involved with this series seriously think the audience was going to connect with adaptation of source material based on the Hillary campaign centered around journalists of all professions? How out of touch do you have to be to think Hillary was ever well liked, let alone 8 years after her defeat or that we the unwashed masses were going to "enjoy" a series centered around the scribes and stenographers to the rich and powerful?

Oh please not long ago she was up in a NYC hotel trying to sell Andrew's secrets to a rag magazine. SHE KNEW ALL ABOUT HIS LIFE WITH THOSE GIRLS. SHE DIN'T CARE, now she lives in his house. Fergie is every bit as bad as he is.

I am a car guy from Switzerland in my 50s. I watch Emilias videos for years. I think it is not only because she is a woman but because she is such a lovely person, always very positive and you clearly can see how much she enjoys driving a car - and that is the point. By the way, the car scenes in the film were awful 🙈
