It's too thick for the first few times. You can thicken it alittle as he gets used to the texture.

I agree with the others saying he should be sitting upright in a high chair and that the cereal is too thick. He is hungry and wants the food, but doesn't know what to do with the food in his mouth. Cute baby! 🥰

Mom has more than one child so you think she'd know not to make it so thick for first time feeding. Baby can barely swallow it. Can't be good for digestion, especially at only 4 months

Never feed a baby laying down, they should be sitting up in a highchair. They choke easily laying down! He is not ready yet, he just wants to suck his bottle!!

Why was the clay pot broken? In your first video, where you ground off the top as a lid, it wasn't broken there. Did you drop it or something? It should be able to tolerate high oven heat and not crack.

+a1930ford Hello there. The reason the pot broke is that we forgot to soak the clay pot in water overnight. This prevents cracking.
@a1930ford8 жыл бұрын
A couple of suggestions for if you do this again in the future: Wet the clay pot to cut down drastically on the residual dust. Make a light cut with your grinder and follow through with a standard carpenter's saw so you don't have the rough edges to contend with on the pot. Always, always, always do the cutting of clay pots outside or you will get dust in places you don't even want to go to. Wear a cheapie mask so you don't inhale the residual dust flying about and to be safe, as clay pots can sometimes break off in shards that fly out, wear some glasses or safety glasses as you make your cuts.Nice size pot you are using. Should make for a really nice oven.

+a1930ford Thanks for the suggestions. AS mentioned we forgot to soak the pot in water. As for the tools, we rented them from Home depot and did not have a wide selection to choose from and had to go wtih the one you see in the video.

It looks good. Did you try making naan (bread) with it as well?
@SolitaFamily10 жыл бұрын
Yes we did! However, the naan did not stick to the inside of the pot as one would expect. We tried water and even fashioned a "naan pillow" used by the tandoor pro's to push the naan into the oven. Instead we heated a large cast iron griddle on top of the pot, and used it to cook the naan. Thank you for your question :-)
