So fun to watch you both and your video adventures. The prison hotel was pretty cool. I wanna go there now!

It was really awesome! Such a great place to stay! There was also an option to stay in actual prison cells (we didn't realise this until after we booked the Adina) It was called 'The Interlude' the rooms were made from made from 4 interconnecting cells! Shame we found out too late! still an awesome experience!

That sounds like an awesome adventure you have planned! Are you staying in an underground room? It’s quite an experience. Supermarkets sell them for roughly 20Aud a kilo, but you may find some bargains in the Adelaide markets!

That is a horrible place to raise children.. wtf lolol those poor girls hahaha im sure they were loved and all that stuff.. im just thinking of what childhood would be like if that was my room.. you wouldnt ever be able to bring friends over, if people at school knew you lived in the dirt underground you would be made fun of constantly. Least they could of dont is frame in some walls in the room so they not just living in dirt...

Haha I can definitely see where you’re coming from! But that’s actually normal in Coober Pedy! It’s so incredibly hot there (52 degrees Celsius in summer hot) that most people have no choice but to live underground. It’s incredible how cool it is below the surface, no air conditioning needed! But I definitely couldn’t imagine living like that myself!

small town living is absolute shit unless you are wealthy... you can call me a clown all you want, its not gonna change my opinion.. I was raised deep in the woods, and I was essentially a prisoner once I got home.. there was no afterschool stuff, no friends i could walk to in under 3 hours, no TV cept a couple channels, no internet, no cable, no friday night pizza, no going to the movies, no going out as a family except on the rare occasion.. sure I could go run around the woods all i wanted too.. cept I had to walk 3 miles up and down massive and very steep hills, to and from work in rain, sleet, snow... and mud... the mud was the worst because you couldnt walk on the road unless you wanted to sink half way up your shin in clay mud..wooooot.. shit got boring after 12 years of it...not to mention literaly becoming a logger at age 13... Those "girls" didnt have all the same advantages as kids who are not living in the boondocks... but hey... it seems country living did one thing for you.. it made you sensitive to online posts.. @@1991shane1991

Im sure it is! we do 3ft thick adobe in the desert in the southwest here in america! and with a little cealing fan, leaving windows and doors open all night then shutting it all down including blinds.. we were one of the only house on the mesa where people would come in and say... do yall got AC? hahah it seems their parents could of taken some of that opal money and like, framed in the room, made it seem less like a hole in the ground...idk.. as an adult I would LOVE that place, specially if i could just like wake up, go mine opals half the day, then carve and polish opals the other half of the day..
