Damn and he still grew up to be trash 🗑️ lmao nah all jokes aside im sorry to hear that, I’m glad he made it and I know he made his family proud.
Ain’t no way I’m putting that on my baby brother or brother in general that’s some goofy behavior
That's a problem in the black community
With no dog in the race, all I'll say is that Jackson and Pinson weren't on that '04-'05 UNC squad coached by Williams. Nor were they there when Matt Doherty was the coach during McCants freshman year.
Bums for this 😢
That’s one thing you love about college is that atmosphere shit be wild
Damn lebryan nash a name from the past boy was cold wtf happen to him probably went overseas and was cold
He handled the pressure the right way🫡🐐🍀
That just gave me goosebumps
The harsh results of single motherhood. Boys have to be men when a man is not there.
That crazy thats shit Charleston White was talking about. That shouldn't be the responsibility of a child but a husband smh
Your older brother is a fool. I’m glad you grew up to be successful.
No, he's not. You probably can't understand it...
This shyt is real Becuz I lost 😢 my big brother yesterday, an I just feel empty right now
Old school
That’s a terrible thing to do to a kid that age. Ya, teach him responsibility as he grows, but don’t put the whole f-n family on his back. N if he didn’t make it? It’s incredibly hard to make it pro at any sport, I mean it’s damn near impossible, and to STAY in the league for more than a year or 2 is crazy tough too. That sh- ruins people if they fail to live up to ur f-d up expectations for a kid who probably ain’t even hit puberty yet.
He'll never dye his hair Celtic green again 🤣
Smart looks like he been retired for 2 years
Man I was at the bar when that happen full Of cav lebron fans. When he did that I was screaming ahah.
Gotta love the hood mentality...little Marcus can shoot a bball...so all of us adults can give up on trying to better ourselves and get ourselves out the hood. Lets just put that on a 12 year old. Good Lord. Thankful my parents were responsible n busted their asses to make our lives better and didnt ezcpext sht from me and my sister other than to go to school and graduate.
Look I know some of y'all gonna b like this shit ain't right, but this shit is life. Like it or not. Salute
🫤🔥🔥🔥💯💯
I'm continually inspired by the passion and determination of the women here.💝
a kid should be allowed to cry i hate that he aint let marcus have his moment
Keep up the good work
thats a big ass chip on his shoulder
I felt this from the bottom of my heart
Damn that's crazy
The flop king even had to laugh at himself he know he play too damn much 😂😂😂
Should’ve asked him about being DPOY
I remember calling my dad telling him I was burnt out from playing ball and I didn’t want to anymore, I told him the pressure he places on me hinders my ability to focus and not be anxious while I play. He just dismissed and deflected that. That’s when I knew, it was time to hang ‘em up and do what I want to do with my life. Explore all the options and live for me. Best thing I could’ve done because I’m financially independent now. But still carry that weird weight of, if I stick with it, where would I be. Would I be more loved not only by family but maybe women? It’s a weird dynamic to grow up with this expectation of make the league or bust. Shoutout all of y’all who have dealt with that and took the reins over. I’ll never place that pressure on my kid, win or lose, that’s my kid, I’m proud. And my younger bro, hears that from me all the time. I want him to be greater than me. Go far and high. But if he stopped playing ball, he’s still my brother and I love him the same.
His story is a story of many black boys that don't feel the luxury of just being a damn kid because of our life circumstances.
I was at that game in NOLA. They cheated us for views. Marcus smart played ass the whole game but hit two threes in the fourth to turn it around. Ja and the refs was fucking us that night
Feminism worked her magic
Our Men have SERIOUS SEVERE PTSD. the world says y'all violent. I see past that. We hurtin. This is real. Not excuses. Just real.
Sorry Marcus
Talk about life pressure. Thank goodness he made it to the NBA
Women need to stop treating their sons like they are their husbands. Stop stealing their childhoods. It’s not their fault you don’t know how to pick a good man.
-slaps- don’t be no remmissing!
When he 11 is krazy moms gotta make better decisions
He said we had me, Dontrez, Justin McCoy, rj, and leaky. Nasty lineup lol. Mando is the man. That Baylor game the most stressful game in 30 years of watching this shit
Helluva “responsibility” to lay on ya “kid” bro. I’ll bet you any amount that the same bro that spit that nonsense, got his hand out on every payday since this dude entered the league.
Danny green is a fav of mine . Love the guy. He can take everything he was taught in San Antonio and be successful anywhere
Gerald couldve been a big piece on a championship squad, that Portland team he was on wit B Roy, Aldridge, J Crossover, Oden couldve snatched one if they stayed healthy and had a better head coach
🙄
Man I hate when players who put in the ground work get shipped off and then they win soon after that shit weak to me He deserves a ring
Psycho T
Marcus sounding like Jamies Winston alil bit 😂
That made me really see how good he was. When he bumped him I was like🥶👌🏾
What type of worthless adult are you to tell a kid he's the only hope. That "I fxuked up" is just another excuse he tells himself and others to avoid any responsibility.
U were on drugs
