Any reason not to just delete the evap line and canister?
No, other than not knowing if there's another vacuum line tapped in after this point
@@HooverManeuvers I’m gonna try and find out. All that stuff looks like added weight and as we know less weight means faster. What should I be looking for exactly? Great video by the way made things go easy. I did t get the t fitting in my evo kit so I gotta give them a call.
Did you end up having to add more oil ?
No. Thanks for watching!
Glad you're doing better Dean!
Thank you!
as well biger injectors ? more fuel, more consumtion...how much redused it the range of 1 tank ?
On E85 at Coos Bay I burned through 40 gallons in 200 miles
What's up with the X3?
It's got a bad motor. I need to bring it back to its once glory
Great videos. Where do you get the paperwork to show you how to do the services?
Shop manual
@@HooverManeuvers Do you have to pay extra for a shop manual? Where do I find one? I've been looking.
Found mine in one of the FB groups
❤
Haha! I also had a case of the as you called it "coco puffs" a couple of weeks ago.
Hope you're doing better now
Dalam kenal mister
Thanks for watching!
Great video, enjoy it!😎
Thank you!
Thanks for the sharing! Another good video✌
Thanks for watching!
The hose clamp for the block-off on the intake tube, @12:36 I would suggest flipping it to the other side so that clamp doesn't wear a hole in the catch can tube from vibrations. Of course if you can reach it that way. Having everything so cramped makes it super hard to work as well as causes things to vibrate and rub on each other and wear holes. I've had to many instances of that on the various vehicles I've gone mudding and dune with!
Thank you! Good catch
Will you be riding Glamis this season?
Definitely!
Appreciate you doing these videos! New Mav R owner here, and these videos are definitely very helpful to me as I dive into this car! Thanks again and be safe out there with that beast!
Thank you for the encouragement!
Pretty cool. Was the tractor tow spendy?
Free during the event!
Looked like a PIA but worth it
Yup!
Watched this with a closeup on where to mount everything - excellent. I don't have the tune for the engine/transmission yet so I have the rattle noise in high gear around 3k RPM. Some of the noise I attribute to that heat shield you are working around in your video - did you notice areas where it rattles around while working around it? I found a few areas to bend to keep it from such a rattle trap that seemed to help. Now on to the transmission tune - did it help with the clutch rattle at low RPM? Others suggest it does.
Yes, in fact I did find something that would rattle and make noise. The heat shield around the exhaust manifold is held on with bolts and washers. I noticed some of the bolts bottomed out (tight) but the washers were rattling as if the bolts were slightly too long.
Will be interested to hear how much stuff you are capturing in the catch can. Another good video, thanks.
thanks for watching!
😍😍😍😍
Thanks for watching!
Good video info
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Polycarbonate Rear Windshield for your 2024 Can Am Maverick R
Here's my email [email protected]
Overall, how happy are you with this Tire Choice! I don’t think I’ll run as many HP as you, I’m liking the 100-octane Tune! With that, do you have any idea on Tire Size? Thanks Much!
I really like the 35s for duning. Not the best for drag racing. If you go 35s just do the appropriate number of paddles for the hp you are running.

You need to ajust the Toe now ?
I should have checked to see if there was any difference. But had no ill results
I need this in my life 🤙
So much fun!
Did you drive the machine up the trailer like that? Or did you strap the suspension once it was on the trailer?
Drove up like that
@@HooverManeuvers interesting. Think you can made a video of that? I'm a turbo talon guy.. looking to upgrade. I have an 8.5 wide enclosed but if I can get it on my sxs trailer... my mpgs would be most appreciative lol
Dean what lift are you using here?
Harbor Freight used to sell them
I can't send a picture on these comments
Super fun video! Missed ya out there! Come out to st Anthony's for invasion so we can rip together 👊🏾
Definitely! And congratulations again to you two!
That was a blast. I was booboo the ol dune limo all it had, huge shout out to Ned at MTS, THE 4 seater may not be as fast as all these new rides, but it sure rides good wide open.
Tons of fun!
Always good seeing you and Donna wish I could have taken time off from the booth and went for some rides with you. All I got in were the night rides . The most fun I have all year. Even with getting crashed thursday night.
Great seeing you guys!
Best rides ever .
Absolutely!
Thank you for posting this video. I am in the process of doing the exact same thing with my Garmin Tread XL and the Can Am Device Holder. I am hoping I can machine some spacers that will allow me to space out the 90 degree power supply cable and antenna cables. I'd really like to know if there is anything you would do differently now that you have had some time to run this configuration.
ya, it's a bit too shakey when I angle it towards the driver. My passenger isn't much for staying on top of GPS duties. Lol. I'd rather have something that mounts it about the center display.
@@HooverManeuvers I don't see a good solution to mount it in the center without it sitting too high and blocking visibility. I am going to work on using the can am device holder or possibly machine a mounting plate that will give it more stability. I love the Mav R but dang they sure didn't give us a lot of room to add accessories.
Yup!
what width is the deck of the trailer? I have an aluminum trailer thats 7.5 in width wondering if thats going to be enough.
Mine is 84'
How did you get your Mav r to show mph
I'm not sure. It came that way?
Great video we were out there too. We came up from Redding! Maybe next time we will see you out there. Are you up in Oregon or in California?
THANK YOU! We are from central California near Fresno.
And you're still running a stock cage ??🤷♂️
For now. Looking for seats then cage because of unknown ride height
How do you like your Skat Trak and what you pay for them at show? Im getting my MavR delivered soon and will be buying paddles and other goodies at show! I always liked Skat.
I really liked them before the power adders. They were the perfect size and right amount of paddles. I've always liked buffs in front to keep from grabbing ruts.
@@HooverManeuvers LMK if you will be selling as you will def need 16 paddles. BTW you and I know an Attorney friend in the Simi Valley area. He said you let him drive your Mav in Glamis last year!
kzread.info/dash/bejne/o5Olk9GOgNy_h9o.htmlsi=XD4HRHlxnTdRyDlN
Already upgraded. Ya, probably sell the skats. Say hi to Noel for me when he gets back from Europe
Great driving! Don’t get too much of that in Glamis. Some of those blind drops had me puckering
It was so much fun!
I know you had an x3 before the R. My wife’s car is a 72” RR and I have the R. I’m wondering if you had to do this with your x3 with paddles. If so where did you strap it? I have 80” from fender to fender in my trailer. It would be nice to do this to her car so I only have to switch paddles on one car when I get to my destination. Love your videos by the way
Never had to do it with the X3 but should be easy to do just by going around the lower ball joints. Thanks for the props. I really appreciate it.
Did the 35 inch front tires rub it all?
Nope. Did great!
Thanks for the video. I’m on the fence between the diamonds & buffs for the front. Which did you like better?
I want to say the diamonds helped with the turning.
@@HooverManeuvers did you have any trouble with the 35” fronts rubbing?
What wheel width and back spacing? Front and rear? TIA
I believe the front is like a 4/3 and the rear 5.5/5.5
@@HooverManeuvers Thanks. Great video! Car looks awesome
Did the fronts rub at all when you were out at Coos Bay? Do you think you picked the right number of paddles for the car? TIA
No rub at all. They worked out perfect for duning with the power I'm at.
I appreciate the helpful tips
Thanks!
Been watching your vids and thank for content. You are doing nice mods to your Mav, do you believe in the cage that much as it is still stock vs all the other mods you have done.
I actually have above average faith in the factory cage but I will be replacing it
Wonderful video! I’ve been subscribed and watching for quite a while. I think your video quality has improved a great deal and the background music/engine music mix is excellent in this one. The helmet camera view is great also. Thanks for taking us along for a great vicarious ride. I’m anxious for more. 👏🏻👏🏻😎
Thanks! I struggle with ride videos but working on getting better
Looking good
Thanks!
Dog needs goggles 😀
Lol, Ya!
Just rolled up on you by the bathrooms good seeing you guys out here
Awesome! We got a big kick out of it!
Hope you guy's had a blast wish I could have stopped by and chatted with you but maybe next time we are packing up in the morning
@@Buckmaster30We had a great time! Rolled out about 5 after you saw us.
