So sad to see that the Arboretum is not being maintained. Lack of funding? Lack of staff?

I found this valuable, however, I wish you could demonstrate on a heavily potted/rooted tree with circular roots. Thank you.

That bell was not made to be rung with a metal hammer!!! The original hammer was an Asian gong mallet. The original mallet had a round wooden ball with a leather cover. It produced a beautiful mellow sound when it stuck the metal cylinder. Unfortunately, the original mallet was stolen shortly after the bell was installed. The metal hammer really needs to go! You would think that an institute of higher learning would be able to research what an Asian gong is.

Why are you punching the pot like a crazy person before pulling the out?

Love your drying method. I have a good spot under the stairs. It's dark and cool in that place. Also very dry here in Southern California.

That tree needs a stick for a year to make sure it doesn't fall over.

Hi Pam, is it not important to clean the leaves at any point? Thanks for the video!

I suggest really go lite on the Mulch layer over the first two years until replanted tree is walking on its own since shredded Bark or Wood seems to intercept rainfall, especially when receiving lite showers. "Unfilled" Gaiter trickle water bags act as umbrella redirecting needed rainfall away from root ball, and their trickle rates when filled only seems to keep top layer of mulch moist. _Informative video, thanks!_
