    Wow man! Just imagine like all the engine switches, fans, exhaust systems all those buttons and instrument panels inside the cockpit? This isn't even a maritime military vehicle most people even know about! It's an outstanding feat of engineering I'd LOVE to pilot that puppy! Amazing.

    So as an 11b. Whenever (in my company) we were training, we would always communicate everything in a loud and dramatic fashion, basically just for kicks, but also because people who don't yell a lot will lose their voices very easily once they start. IDK just the guy saying "contact, 12 o'clock" as if he was in a 4th grade play made me think about the contrast

    I'm quite surprised by how many older accessories I see on those URGIs - I'm seeing a lot of Aimpoint CompM4s (instead of newer, smaller red dots such as Aimpoint Micros or SIG Romeos), and also older stocks such as Colt "waffle" stocks and even ancient N1 CAR stocks (as opposed to newer LMT/B5 SOPMOD, Magpul, or Vltor stocks that have been popular in SOCOM). I am also surprised that not very many of them are using LPVOs like the SIG Tango 1x6, even though those have supposedly become more common in the past 5 years.

  • @KaneGregory

    They need to source batteries that easier to get!👍🏼

  • @BunyipDude
    @BunyipDude3 ай бұрын

    @@KaneGregory If that's true, then they should at least be using the CompM5, which is much smaller and lighter than the CompM4 (especially when fitted to a LaRue or ScalarWorks mount).

    @@stevehangzo7159 True as that may be, I figured that they would at least have stuff that's found in the SOPMOD Block II catalog (e.g., the newer stocks, and newer red-dots).

It was cool having a grandpa that was a civil defense engineer for 50 years . He worked on alot of neat projects in that time starting with the Fleetwing aeronautical fighter dive bomber , then the Bronco , the Lcac , the space shuttle , and ending his career with the Abrahms .
