    that extra thing on your other headlight looks like a ballast to me usually it is for cars with xenon lights.

    HydrusNetwork is a decent piece of image database software, uses SQLite and has good tagging, you could probably get one of your book scanners to import into it

    I just wrecked a Mavic air. A folding leg broke off and a propeller flew off missing in action. I have not repaired a drone before and I am concerned if I am skilled enough.

    Have you tried doing the headphone jack along with the usbc? I’ve done both mods separately and both work great. Recently I tried with both and I couldn’t get good audio out of my headphone jack and I can only think to blame the usbc charging port. Maybe I need a usbc port that doesn’t offer the audio out? Could that interfere with the headphone jack mod? Hope that makes sense, Great video!

    I'm about to start working on this exact table. But the majority of the cpu boards are bad and were smoking while plugged in. It looks like it will find new life as a digital pinball machine. If you are looking for any specific parts, I might be able to help you out, depending.

    That screw looking thing is known as a worm gear, actually it makes a lot of sense and makes me think of the worm gear setup in Edison diamond disc players. In those machines the arm floats above the disc and a worm gear is what is actually used to advance it.

    I thought wow, how complicated those things are! Then, you got to the Wurlitzer jukebox, and I thought, Ah, now this I understand! I have one but it's a German one. Works the same way but only takes 50 records. I got mine fully working, it all works on coils and relays, no computer!

    Nice! I picked up the exact same one off eBay as well about 15 years ago. Everything worked but, It didn't have a cutting needle and I didn't have any blank vinyl so, I just put it away for a while. Eventually, I removed the amplifier and made a guitar amp out of it. I still have the suitcase and the rest of the parts, I believe. I generally never get rid of anything. Hopefully you'll get yours recording!

    an 1/8th headphone jack would have been cleaner for A/V. Could have put it in the battery compartment and out the side.

    I think you are recording in mono , so it's normal that you don't see side to side movements on the groves, usually mono records are up-down movements.

  • @fanbladeinstruments
    @fanbladeinstruments2 ай бұрын

    You're thinking of wax cylinders which use a hill and dale cutting action, Edison also used this on his very early Edison Diamond disks, but literally every other record ever made uses lateral movement. Standard mono is strictly side to side, a standard stereo groove may have some hill and dale movement but that is a side effect of the two channels intersecting on either side of the cutting.

    You would be surprised at pinball places shipping. I got a Police Force cab decal set from the EU that shipped and came and had several options of EU money or US so of course choose US. So yeah I run a pinball repair business so would be surprised if an over seas place did not ship to you.

    Well the problem was it was a random guy selling it on a website similar to ebay but with a bit of talking with the guy with google translate I've sent the guy 50€ and I got a tracking number so we'll see if it shows up.

    In Europe Bingo Machines were kind of common, espacially in Belgium. Wimi was one o the biggest manufacturers here in Europe. Good Luck to find anything about the solid-state stuff. i recently disposed a Bingo-Machine made by WIMI (Belgium) because no one wanted any parts of the Machine and also there wasn't any support of reaparing this kind of machines here in Germany.

    seeing the internals, and all the language on the signs its definitly spanish on those. its not french or dutch for being a belgian machine ( still could be). i dont know why this has been re'ommended by YT to me, greetings from belgium btw

  • @skeven0
    @skeven02 ай бұрын

    edit: while you think about "bingo" machines you directly think about the 50/60/70s ( before they wre "ilegal" in the US). they are still being made by companies in the world (notable Bingovit in Belgium), theres machines with biggers LCDs than the currrent day new Sterns for almost over a decade ( or two) before they started using them in their games

    Really love this! I think I'm gonna do the same thing but maybe use a 3.5mm jack with an external splitter instead of those huge jacks you used. Loved the subtle nail polish switch as well lol.

    Yeah I'd probably have used a less destructive approach but nice mod! (I already used a 3.5 jack on a Manesth / Skytek SMT-901 for that purpose)
