    Like you said kawa is still one of the best and it happens to all the first gen models. Its just a simple fact. Granted kawa probably should’ve checked it before they sent out the machines but it is what it is. I think in terms of the gift card thing, they probably should’ve done alot more. Ppl are very unhappy with it and for some its costing them business/money. I will say this tho, the little time i spent with the machine ive been very impressed and enjoyed it. But yes more needs to be done in the realm of compensation.

    Lol, in the time between the recall announcement and the fix, the dealership that I bought my mule from, dropped Kawasaki. So they no longer are an OEM repair facility. My nightmare continues.😮

    My first and my last need my ass kicked for buying it. BUT I did learn a lesson never pay cash. Run it through Kawasaki with payments I would have turned it back in. Settle it in court.

    I sure hope it won't be much longer, mine has been sitting in the garage for 2 months now and I sure didn't buy it for that. There customer service stinks and the follow up information on the recall is none existence. Never expected this from kawasaki.

    Good Afternoon Josh, I just wanted you to know that you said it well. I think we all love our 2024 Mules. And like you I have never received anything from Kawasaki. Thank you for your shared information and as you said, I believe Kawasaki will have a fix soon. Meantime as you mentioned, checking the throttle body hose clamps and having a fire extinguisher are easy to do and may be the main the main fix. I have insulated my 2024 Mule 1000HD under the seat, fuel tank, storage boxes and the panel at the back of your legs. Also the entire engine compartment. I have some pictures that I will email you. Feel free to share them if there is any interest. The insulation cuts down the heat from the motor and also the sound by over 50%. It is supposed to be fireproof insulation too. Where I live the average year round temperature is in the 80's and sunny. I have 875 miles on my Mule in three months of daily use. I use it mostly on the road but off road too on jobsites on a very mountainous island.

    If that arrow stick is all you have in the way of rear warning, I would recommend more. Our squad cars (LE side) are decked out with more rear than front because when stopped it is important to warn oncoming traffic = same should be true for fire side in case youre first on scene of an MVA, etc.

    strips are cheap and flexible. not many people want to drIll into the cowl. I installed sane exact setup with no drill; cork removal or heat gun

  • @bajah2xRXT
    @bajah2xRXT8 жыл бұрын

    That's nice man, but I really don't care. You can do it your way and I'll do it mine. I offer a lifetime warranty on everything I do. I don't use cheap strips, and I don't do cheap work. And if you're using a strip, the only way to get the wiring through is to go through the fairing. Anything else makes too much of a bend and will damage the strip. So, again, do it however you want, I really don't care. Nor do I care for your opinion. Move along.

    you basically want $200 to do one of the easiest installs on a bike. dude your must be on drugs. everybody's local bike shop I'm sure would charge way less!

  • @bajah2xRXT
    @bajah2xRXT8 жыл бұрын

    These are strips, not a ring that is shoved in. Maybe ask before you comment. The entire front cowl needs to come off, and 1/4 tab must be cut on the bottom of the intake cowl on each side to accommodate the bottom of the strip and the wiring. The intake pipes are then stretched with a heat gun so it does not rub and damage the strip itself. It is not an easy install. Each set of wiring is fused, switched, and run to 12v for power. I guarantee my work for life. If you don't like the price, go somewhere for halfass work.
