What?!! Nobody has commented yet on this wonderful documentary from 1985?!! OK let me be the first because U2 has been my favorite band since 1983, their music is close to my heart, as a teenager I couldn’t wait to watch this documentary. Heck, I think I own it on DVD or VHS. Really cool to see them make this album at Slane Castle. Good times

KC's Mike Garrett (39:58) was beloved by his teammates but had a very poor relationship with head coach Hank Stram. In 1970 Stram traded Garrett to San Diego. Many of the Chiefs were bitter about this.

Bella storia !

WOW, that Thanksgiving Day in Detroit had rain, snow, sleet and a very muddy field, the very last home game in Minnesota, it snowed like a North Pole type blizzard and the fourteenth and final regular game in Atlanta, it rained like a quagmire and turned the football field into a gooey cesspool, that is what old fashioned pro football should be!!!

Even though the Rams beat San Francisco twice, they played a rough schedule and ended up with an uncharacteristic losing record of 6-7-1. The Eagles played so poorly, you'd think they were doing it on purpose in order to get rid of a strident coach they didn't like. Bears were nothing in 1972. And, it'd get worse in 1973. Buffalo, however, would come on strongly in the 1973 season, posting a 9-5 record. No bags on the fans' heads at Saints games in 1972, but they really and truly were, "the Ain'ts." Oilers had talent. They needed coaching.

Imagine what people in the '70s (or even the '90s) would have thought if you could have showed them video of what's walking around the streets in 2024. They either just wouldn't have believed it or been depressed as hell to see what was coming.
