  Would you add volume to be infused for the IVPB into the channel because of backpriming snd adding fluid?

  in an IVPB often nurses set the pump to a little extra to ensure all the medicaiotn in the bag is depleted. Ex if its 100ml they set it for 105 to account for tubing. So yes, I would recommend always checking your facilities policy or recommendations as well
