Hello from Canada. This was genuinely useful. I am considering a used 2012 Quest, now in 2024. Cheers.
Great. Thanks for the instruction! Very easy to follow.
Thank you!
Hope it helped!
I always come back to this video for my drivers side. I know the technique but it feels reassuring to have someone talking along it, haha
Haha! You know what? I still pull up my own video to make sure I’m doing it right too! Thx for the comment!
$600???!!!! For fuck's sake, that's too much for one thing I want to do.
You could get a manual scanner for much less probably.
Nice review. I’m curious about the clasp as compared to others… whereas the band is titanium, many clasps are steel and scratch easier. The design of this one looks like the titanium band covers the clasp and maybe protects it from scratches? Would love your opinion. 😊
Thx for the note. So the clasp itself is inward facing so it is somewhat protected. What I’m not sure about is the final link that holds the clasp (if that makes sense). But overall, after almost 6 months, mine looks great!
Hi what do you recommend now I’m looking for my fiance a good product the one I bought him does go this low
Unfortunately I don’t know as I don’t use this type of product any more. Sorry.
Just bought this car in Ca... trying to set up dash. Love the car..
HERE'S THE HACK FOR THIS. 25 TO 35 MINUTES, ZERO LABOUR COST! It's very easy to create "key" from wood. I did it with a small piece of pine 1 inch thick, a little chalk, and a handsaw. The key took 30+ minutes to create while changing the low beam bulbs (both sides) took 5 minutes each. Use passenger's side cover as template, it is easy to remove, usually. Chalk the spines on the cover and press them on the wood where they leave a calk imprint. Use a saw cut to create the key and you're in business. I couldn't post a pic or vid - sorry; contact me and l will email the picture. 2017 Elantra four door. Kudos to High Tech Dad. I've used other tips from here successfully. I don't know if the dealers have a special tool but it's so simple!!
Interesting hack! Thanks for sharing!
What a mess lol
???
@@Hightechdad It was a manic and confusing review, like a person with a divergent squint speaking in a crowded room, and you’re not sure who they’re talking to.
Sorry you felt that way. It was tricky to film having multiple camera inputs so that comparisons could be made between the cameras.
I appreciate all the hard work you put in so thank you for that. From the point of view of someone interested in buying something like this to solve the lack of eye contact in zoom calls. I think it would have been better to do have done the comparison of both models on the laptop first and then the monitor. And properly set up so that the camera is at eye level, so that the angle to your face is not up or down. The main selling point for these cameras, and why people are interested is the eye contact. If you spent more time first demonstrating the eye contact benefits you would have our attention, plus the pros and cons of both models. The arm lengths are different so how do either of them work on a laptop for example? Showing the difference of both models on a monitor then a laptop would have been helpful. Then the second half of the review could have covered quality of picture, field of view, configurability etc. just some constructive criticism and I apologise for my earlier remarks!
@@TuffCheez That is great feedback. I appreciate it.
Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Great video man 😎😎😎😎very helpful!
Thank you! Glad you found it useful.
removing the entire lamp is complete stupidity. not required.
The bumper? Or the lamp housing? Bumper, yes. Housing, well it depends which headlight and other factors.
SPIDER LOL HEHEHEHEHEHHAHAHAAHAHAHAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAALALALALALALALALALA
To this day she still freaks out. Haha.
Does it take the older 3x5s?
It can take pretty much any reasonable size.
what's the battery capacity? Mine didn't come with a stand and the box is white. I just bought mine but I wonder if it's a newer model or older.
$200 is just waaay too much for a powerbank. If they could get it down to $130-$140 it would be worth it. Holy hell is that thing big too haha! Appreciate your review for letting me know.
Yes it isn’t something you can just put in your pocket but in a backpack it is fine. Yes a bit pricy but better than dead devices!
Hey just wanted to say thanks other pops ❤ you saved me money time and headace
Thank you, @HighTechDad! Amazing video! Very good instructions. The actual work was even easier than on the video. The rubber ring cost me only $6 on Amazon. I have 2016 Kitchenaid W10579096A. In 8 years the rubber lost its elasticity and started to leak. The part on amazon is called "W10195677 WPW10195677 Dishwasher Diverter Valve Diverter Motor Seal Grommet Gasket".
After spending nearly an hour with epson support, it appears the cropping of photos in the app is not available for Mac. It is available on PC. That's very disappointing. I found the feature very handy when using the PC. You can crop as you go, rather than having to go back with some other software and remember which photos needed cropping.
Hey does anybody know how to bypass Samsung Propel?
Couple of tips for this process. 1. Use a seal puller (looks like an ice pick with a bent tip). 2. The shaft is also worn from the seal rubbing on it. You could have fixed this by slipping a piece of heat shrink tubing over the shaft. The original seal would then again seal properly. 3. The chinesium seal you put in is undersize (OD), and should have teflon tape wrapped around the outside to make it fit the hole better. Watch for leaks, I don't think you quite have this nailed yet.
Thanks for the input. Yes, as I mentioned in the video, I’m not an expert by any means. When it starts leaking again, which I’m sure it will, I will revisit your comment.
Great review
Promo'SM 😊
Thanks Tech Dad for taking time to produce this video. My only suggestion to others is to make sure the replacement bulb is working before reassembling everything. Though I like to trust the new one is working I want confirmation before re assembly. I have had"New" out of the box failures in the past. Regards to all
The worst printer I have purchased into my 30 plus years of working with computers. Stay away of this complicated non worth it printer. It is not fast as you need to search how to do work with it each time y0ou wish to scan, copy, or print with this ET 4850. EPSON SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NEVER AVAILABLE WHEN YOU NEED SOME HELP AND THER IS NO FREE HELP TRYING TO PRING WITH THE PRINTER IS TIME CONSUMPTION. WITH NO RESULT
I haven’t had any issues with it. What problems were you experiencing?
Good review! Thank you!
Thanks for the comment! Glad you liked it.
You're a miracle worker!!! We recently downloaded the latest MAC upgrade and our OneDrive started acting out of control. .ini and .txt files were flooding our trash bin and preventing us from the ability to remove OneDrive and reinstall it because we kept receiving an error message that OneDrive was open. After spending almost two hours trying to troubleshot this nightmare, we came across your video. I can't thank you enough for sharing your very thorough and easy to understand intructions. We followed them step-by-step and "voila" we were able to delete the old OneDrive, reinstall the app, sign-in, and everything is working again just as it should.
Nice. it worked. thanks for the video
Glad that it worked!
It did not work for me. There are no One Drive processes, there's no One Drive app, and when I tried to delete the Keychain Access, it wouldn't do it. Yet somehow there's a folder on my Mac pointing to One Drive!
Hmm, that is strange. Are you sure that OneDrive is installed? Did you try to uninstall it already? Are you logged in as a user with admin privileges? If there are no processes, it's not running. If you don't see the app in Applications, you (or someone) may have deleted it. The folder may just be an alias from a previous install. And if you uninstalled, it may have left your files on the system but they are not syncing to OneDrive.
@@Hightechdad I have uninstalled it and yes I'm logged in as local admin. The process may not be running, but there's definitely a folder still linked to OneDrive and it is somehow syncing, because some of the files I have added after deleting the app show up in that folder. The really annoying thing it counts as storage on my Mac, so I keep getting the nagging your disk is full popup to clean up my drive!😩
Another approach that I have tried a long time ago was to reinstall OneDrive. Then turn off all of the local downloads so that everything is on demand. You have to let it catch up with its own process. Then try the uninstall again. Good luck!
@@Hightechdad Thanks I'll try that. Hopefully it'll let me install it due to low disk space. But how do I turn off the local downloads? Don't I need to sign in??🤔
Excellent job!! thank you for your very use full information
Glad it was helpful!

Followed the same steps and got the lights changed in like 15 mins! Thank you!
So glad it worked for you! Thx for the comment!

Thanks for taking the time to put this video together. Loved the life hack of using an egg crate for keeping screws and parts organized during a project, absolutely brilliant!
Thank you for the comment. Yes, the egg crate is awesome and super convenient. But wow, the iPhone 4S is eons ago. Don’t think I could do it now!
Super helpful. Thank you. I am going to go for the laptop version.
That’s great. It’s super lightweight and small.
Thank you High Tech Dad for your review. We're committed to improving online video communication! If you have any questions or would like any support with your iContact Camera, don't hesitate to reach out.
Always happy to review and help!
Definitely the nicest setup! I’ve been looking at it , but dang $329 😬 guess it’s not too bad lol . Imma buy it anyway.
Agree. It is a bit expensive. The lower grade one is always an option. I do like the higher grade and I’ve been using it for a few months now.
@@Hightechdad I would only buy the grade 4 it’s way nicer and thicker.
Perfect! this is the ONLY video I have found that offered this solution (borders) to my problem and it fixed it right off! Thank you so much! This has been bothering me for A LONG TIME!
I’m so glad to hear that it helped! Thanks for the feedback.
what sd card are you using for this camera
Sorry, I haven’t used this camera in many many years. So, I’m not sure.
@@Hightechdad oh ok it’s just i bought one recently and when i go to record it says “this memory stick may not record or play”

You’re welcome. Hope it helped.
Any words on the UGreen Nexode Pro 65w slim version that supposedly be released in April? Can't find anything regarding it.
I haven’t seen it yet. And I was only able to review the ones in my review. It looks cool though!
Thank you for the video. Over a year has passed since this review. How's this hub today? Is it still functioning correctly with no issues at all? I would love to get a quick comment about your take on it today. Thanks again!
Thanks for the comment and question. Yes! I have been using it daily with four devices plugged into it. I have not had any issues (knock on wood). I have MBP, mic, webcam, and monitor connected to it.
@@Hightechdad Thank you for the response.
Are the sides made from metal/aluminium or plastic?
Just took a look at it. It’s hard to say exactly what the material is. For the sides, it almost feels like metal (or very hard plastic). The top and bottom seem to be hard plastic. The MagSafe charging side has a soft rubber to not scratch your iPhone. And the fold out propping stand is metal. Hope that helps.
Thank you so much!! Couldn't find this answer anywhere.
So glad that it helped and thanks for the comment.
Is this good for powering a deep freezer?
It depends on the power consumption of the freeze and the environment.
How long did it take to charge
Off the top of my head, I can’t exactly remember. It depends on the state of your battery, the type of charger you are using, etc. I typically just use it (set it and forget it) and then just unplug. If I were to guess, I’d say a couple of hours.
