    Great video but doesn't explain how you proved it was the heater itself. Just tested mine at 27ohms across the insulated terminals so it's perfectly OK. Problem not solved but at least I haven't bought a replacement heater at £80. The limescale is no great indicator that the heater is faulty at all.

    RE. JUBILEE/HOSE CLIPS: You will need 2 x size 25mm-35mm. RE. ELECTRICS: Purple wire (neutral) on top, brown (live) underneath. Mission accomplished, would have cost less than £30 but for the wrong size jubilees - hence this comment! One more note on this model: it's super-flimsy so take care not to knock or bend the sides or base-plate while you're working. At best you'll struggle to reassemble it, and at worst you'll dislodge something in the process (in my case the blue hose...). :)

    Hi, thanks for this excellent, clear tutorial. Like a couple of others I've come unstuck without the correct size jubilee clips, but meanwhile I can see the old heater looks clean. However the black pipe is contorted and was stuck to the old heater, making it difficult to remove. I'm guessing it may have partially melted, but the machine is only 5 years old and generally used just a couple of times a week on standard. I'm wondering if a) I should replace the black pipe (I didn't get one with the replacement heater), and b) could that be why my machine isn't heating properly, rather than the heater itself? I'd be grateful for some advice - my kitchen is tiny with silly plumbing, so I really need to sort this in one go.

    is there an easy source for SPP's without a service contract for out of support hardware link HP DL60 G9? I have a machine I bought from work that had been lost in a janitor's closet and it has never received updates. I think the latest is 2019.12.0.

    Very useful video; thank you. Although it may seem quite daunting for some some it really was a pretty easy job. My dishwasher wasn’t heating the water or drying the dishes. From research online I took a guess that it must be the flow through water heater and bought the part here..... www.buyspares.co.uk/flow-through-heater-1800w/product.pl?pid=5271538

  • @carlmilburn
    @carlmilburn4 жыл бұрын

    I’ve just done mine today and luckily it worked. From what I’ve read online, if changing the flow through heater doesn’t fix it then it could be a control panel issue.

  • @carlmilburn
    @carlmilburn4 жыл бұрын

    Whim1975 I wouldn’t even know what that meant mate ? I’m not a technician, just a regular guy who used a KZread video to successfully fix my dishwasher. Polarised? Is that the earth lead you are talking about? If so you don’t need to change it, just simply disconnect and then connect to the new part.

    oasis mad earth lead? Ooooooh you mean ground lead. No. When I asked about polarized, I meant positive and negative connection. No worrys it was. Thanks dog
