Daniel's work as an actor is doing justice to the work of Lauda as a racing driver. Which just leaves the bimbo on the right on the other side of things... Such a waste, nothing remotely evoques James Hunt coming from Chris, no accent no Bristish educated maneers, no charm not even the haircut. Simply ridiculous. A real shame because the movie lacks tons on that side of the story, just because of a lazy actor and a director that should had requested full implication or get him fired. See the film as a lost oportunity. As only Lauda gets justice and James becomes a clown, a shadow of the great character he was. Rest in peace both drivers.

Paul Bettany has a great perspective on capitalism. Capitalism is voracious and selective. I know...I'm a fervent capitalist.

Hearing Zach Quinto do the Pittsburgh accent to Leonard Nimoy was a thing this Yinzer never knew he needed.

Zachary Quinto may have looks like an excellent Spock but his acting doing Spock was horrible. He was to emotional and whiny. He came across as a discount parody of Leonard Nimoy’s Spock. The romantic relationship between Spock and Uhura was illogical and force. The relationship actually distracted from the movie. Zachary Quinto is a extremity boring actor in about everything he has been in. This is my personal opinion.

This whole film was a clinic on acting. The only one who didn't fit was Demi Moore. She's talented and been in some great stuff over the years, but I just think she was miscast in this one. Slight blemish on an otherwise great film.

Who do you think should have been cast? It had to be someone in their 40’s or older, to be true to the character. Suggestions? Jennifer Connolly.

@@cz2165 Andrea Parker is my #1 choice for any dark female chatacter. Eva Green would have been my #2, and I think her European accent would have added more intrigue to the character.

Fun fact, that is if the Hammer Museum in this video is the one on Wilshire Boulevard in LA. … here goes: The roof of the high rise Hammer Museum is the one that Batman and Robin fly over in the Batcopter in the 1966 movie, where the girls in bikinis all wave to the daring duo as they are on their way out to the ocean where ultimately Batman nearly gets his leg eaten off by a shark until Robin inches down the ladder with the very effective shark repellent Batspray. It’s true I tell you.

Writers leave and new writers may not have a grasp of the character, so the actor is really the custodian... Thank you Leonard Nimoy. Do you hear that, JJ Abrams and Rian fricking Johnson?? Listen to Luke Skywalker next time.

Basically if you are able to make enough money for your bosses , they will look the other way even if it's criminal. When the bubble gets big enough , they know the government will step in to bail them out because they won't let the entire system fail. The poor investors get ripped off in the end and people lives are destroyed with the lies of "secure investments". The companies that were supposed to rate the investments ( Moody's and Standard & Poor's ) had become corrupt and were only interested in their commissions . They were the real criminals because they allowed junk bonds to be rated as triple A bonds. The management of both should have gone to jail.

The syste, is corrupt. Has been since the 80's (at least). The Fed manipulates the capital markets. They then decide when they are going to pull them down. The person NOT on the inside never stands a chance. And yet, after 10 years or so ... just like lemmings we come back and hurl ourselves off the financial cliff. The great solace is these 'workers of inequity' will be spending all eternity in a very, very unpleasant place.

To me everything starts off with are you a good and decent person. I think that Leonard’s love and acceptance and embrace of Zachary, and his caretaking of one of the most unique and incredible roles and of him as a person too, clinched it quickly for me. I don’t care how you find love. I do know that I love Zachary’s art and hope to watch him progress and change throughout the years.
