First with Googan it was "they are ripping off other companies designs" (which every bait maker does to a point because if it works and catches fish why wouldn't you) Now it's just Googan is junk,trash, garbage with 0 proof or context other than it's the cool thing to do by bashing a successful company.... I just bought the curado DC and the wind mode sucks as far as distance goes. if I can find my receipt I am gonna return it and more than likely get scorpion dc.
and you set DC spool tension all the same which is just enough to stop the side to side play in the spool...
Is better then curado dc? I mean which one cast further?

Got my son a year subscription of the Pro box as a present. We're a few months into it now and so far he is loving it. I'm not sure who is more excited when it show's up each month, him or me! Nice review..... We still have plenty of ice up north here, I'll be drilling holes for another month and a half yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to some open water Walleye's come May... So why were you pushing down so hard on the k drill does it need it? Seems counterintuitive. The strike master you were basically just guiding it down. I can tell you from experience more pressure on a drill doesn’t always mean faster drill times
Your running your drill in 2nd gear! You need to be running it in 1st gear. Mine does not do that with 8.5 k-drill. Bad comparison video

I've been fishing for about 27 years. Daiwa is superior. Nobody makes casting reels better than them. The T-wing system, unique magnetic braking system, beefy drag washers, cool design and looks, they have everything an angler could want.

Maybe a smaller table so you can show the product a tad closer. As a fishing enthusiast i love the idea of a mystery box but the adult in me has to spend my money more targeted for what i need or need to replenish. I heard awesome things about those zman fluke baits, thought about neko rigging

Everytime I buy one of those boxes I get maybe 1 hard lure a hook a couple of soft plastics and stickers and that's all I ever get I stopped buying them

That aerator is pretty loud. Reeeaallly hoped it was gonna be silent and the fact you mentioned it leaks when closed is upsetting for the price point they set it at. These are the only miss’ in this product I can see. Thing is bad ass but two very important issues need fixing
I agree that the leaks when its tilted does suck, but overall this thing is a beast!
It probably can't be water tight since it has to let air out or the box would pressurize.
I have a recon plus. Sent back to Marcum. Still doesn’t work. Worthless and I wasted my money. I have a marcum flasher lx5. Love it and worth every penny. Have used since 2009 and works perfect. Do not buy their cameras!

The spool tension per shimano is to be set to just minimize the side to side play, otherwise the dc brake system won't work as it's designed to!

What kind of drag pressure does this reel have. Is it an 11lb. drag like the Coastal TW 150 ?
I got mine last year through Amazon. Only had to wait 2 weeks for delivery. Was thinking of using it in saltwater, but it's not made for it, so I'm waiting till next weekend to fish for some yellow perch at my local lake. Can't wait to try it out!
It was approved for saltwater use I believe
@@josiah2327 yeah, but I still wouldn't use it for the salt. I've got Penn Fathom low profile baitcasters for that.

I have very similar reel collection. Last summer I bought my first US Curado DC, really liked the DC and thought it could skip well. I found it works best for dedicated crank reel. Recently I got into JDM reels because the exchange rate is sweet right now so I bought a SLX 70 DC, with the thought it’d be my skipping reel. It’s ok, but I use it as my Chatterbait reel. And everyone has a Scorpion DC, so I bought one of those last month. And use that for spinnerbait, which is perfect IMO. I just purchased a Tatula SV TW. So I’m going to let you know if it’s a better skipping reel than a DC. I hope it is.

It’s probably my favorite reel I own. I use it for flip/pitch and skipping. Can’t beat this reel for the price point!
