Well, just like everything in the country, this is the show of progress. Just like the middle class, and everything good and wholesome has been 'disappeared', while they tell you that "you are just a fruitcake" if you speak up and say anything about it, and if that doesn't keep your mouth shut, then we will just put you in prison for one of the myriads of millions of laws, even for a thought crime, for life.. All in the free-est country in the world. God Bless America. And you can tell.

I was at the grand opening of M.S.M. in 1987. It opened the year after Owings Mills Mall's grand opening. Just like Owings Mills, the first decade of these malls were great. So many memories. However, times change and the era of big malls everywhere are over. There will only be indoor malls near high traffic regions in wealthy communities near major interstates such as still magnificent Tysons Corner Mall in Virginia and Pentagon City Mall right next to the Pentagon also in Northern Virginia. Only very upscale malls in very upscale communities will have a mall. For average American consumers--malls are dead.

As far as I can remember, one of my friends said that Sears here and every other Sears store will be closing down on January 24, 2021. It was nice knowing them and I will miss the Sports section where they had the ping pong, pool table, and hockey table sections that looked very badass but they always will be there at Dick's Sporting Goods. That's my mall! Haha. I barely go there due to the mask wearing rule because I usually don't feel too comfortable wearing a mask and then wind up having a little trouble breathing but when the mask wearing is over, I will definitely come back there every week or every two weeks and enjoy the "no mask wearing" rule when that day comes! Nice video! (Written on December 29, 2020)

So sad that it has been left to decay so badly. I know by the dates that many of their families have moved, but there should be someone or a group who would at least tend to them a few times a year. I would help if I could but don't live in MD anymore. We live in Alabama and there is a small family grave area surrounded by trees, Many of the headstones are tillted and such. You wouldn't even se it if you hadn't been told about it.
