    I have the same RV except mine is ‘85. Im curious if anyone knows where fuel pump is on this? Im getting conflicting possibilities. Side of engine, under driver-side, in one or both fuel tanks…

    I dont use " Butyl Tape" or sealed lap ! I used only EternaBond-DoubleStick tape around on new RV roof vent before put on new roof then use "Crazy Seal Patch" Brush around vent then Crazy seal coating 2 time it will be last 50 year guaranteed!

    Both Monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels are made with the same quality and purity of silicon, the difference is in the silicon crystal manufacturing process.

    I am attaching a ground wire from my Lynx distributor that is part of my solar system to my chassis via a drilled hole, however since I am converting an ambulance, the coach is made of aluminum so could I just attach it to the coach? I wasn’t sure about grounding to aluminum.

    There is no such thing as a hot water heater. If your water was hot ready, you would not need a heater. It is just a water heater or you could call it a cold water heater. But it is not a “hot water heater.”

    Unless you are hooked up to water, do not switch from a conventional water heater these systems waste so much water if you are running off your tank it’s a huge waste

    I dont know why the companies dont add temperature sensor with two-way valve (can be activated by 12v switch when desired), circulation to the fresh water tank, when the flow matches the desired temperature, it switches to the faucet. the lower setpoint, the faster water flows. in case water city source, the fresh water tank will get full, the water goes with overflow outlet.

    Just an opinion, but from what it appears, 10awg and 30amp inline fuse seems a better fit, but not sure how you might have run in series/parallel Over fusing a system has drawbacks and puts things at a higher risk before they blow

    Graphene is very expensive still, but as an experiment, getting a sheet of graphene covering for a solar panel, the heat issue will change and so will absorption capability that will affect power produced in addition to higher protection. Graphene might also reduce the heating of PV. It would be worth experimenting to see the outputs and value of extended life, more production, and higher strength against hail or impact damage. So would it be worth that investment? Who knows?

    Hi Michael, Thanks for all your videos. I need your help. I have an issue with a 340W ( Vmp 32 V, Imp 10A, Voc 40V, Isc 10A.6) mono solar panel I recently bought. The voltage reading without load is fine, but without load I can never get more than 1.8A. As soon as it's connected to my microinverter or my off-grid inverter, the current goes down to 0.1/0.3 A and it never makes more than 11W. No shade, no visible damage, nothing. I already change the MC4 connectors, check voltage continuity in the cables, changes cable, tested the bypass diodes, temporary replaced the bypass diodes, and still nothing. Always the same 5-11W power production. What could it be? I run out of ideas..... Thanks!! Pepe

    Don’t get me wrong, I love KZread, but people need to really consider who they take advice from on things that can kill you with fire in your sleep! Look for little clues, this guy is clearly not an electrician, and nothing wrong with that, but taping buss bars down? Huge Red flag, heat loosens most sticky tapes, hit a bump and now hot side is moving around sparking an stuff. Also plugging in and unplugging panels while they are producing electricity, there is an electrical ark/spark you should avoid. Lay a towel over the panels and they stop producing electricity to work on, I saved the boxes and made 2 covers per box for my initial hookup. Happy YouTubing.

    Funny how no one talks anout fire risk. Most Lithium ion batteries are (LiFePO4). When these catch fire it is a 3 foot inextinguishable flame. Personally had one catch on my property and had no option but to wait for the fire to go out. Same thing with Teslas, If they're on fire the fire departments can't do anything but control the burn and make sure it doesn't spread. Factoring in these risk flooded are the better option.

  • @jaycjas3143
    @jaycjas314310 ай бұрын

    I personally have switched all my batteries on my homestead to flooded in order to mitigate fire risk and losing $1000's of dollars because one caught fire. To be fair it I'm in Texas and it was 106 and my minisplit in my battery room couldn't keep up but the risk is still there.

    Also on the controller they have a limit on voltage they can handle too not just the amperage. Do the calculations and consider the total voltage as well.

    When you say if you use 2.8kw you need a 3kw invertor. Surely a 3kw invertor is 'peak' power, so wouldn't it eventually cut out? Surely of you was using 2.8kw you would need atleast a 4kw invertor?

    it was better you buy 3 solar panel 410 watts each. it is just a little a bit bigger. but not that much.
