SplendidBMX.com aka Cheeky Monkey Productions travelled up and down the UK filming at various comps, road trips and jams during the 90s, producing 7 videos during that time.
The aim of this channel and our site (splendidbmx.com) is to put all the footage online. There is no set format... some of it will be cut down, some will be full comp runs, some will be 1 rider sections, whereas others will be a mix of who knows.
I'll grab a tape at random and see what happens.
Please subscribe to our channel to be among the first to see our new content.

I still know where that wallride @ 0:15 is, its behind piccadilly station heading towards the old pipeline skatepark, just have to watch out for the prostitutes back then, I was propositioned one night outside pipeline, complete with bmx in the back of my mini.
Fuck yeah.
Proper aggressive 💪
What the hell was he wearing? Looks like a member of Arrested Development. I'll have to start calling him Mr Wendal from now on he he.

I was there, couldn't ride because I popped my knee out a week before, I was gutted because I was gonna go for the wallride pegstall or the big gap. Cool vid that sadly brought back one of my bad memories because I couldn't do my thing. Hahaha.

Back before resi and foam pits.
Massive turndown. All without a helmet. Legend. Cheers.

I can't over the fact that we ran such small bars, back then... 😅

Back when flat table was truly respected.
Carlo was better than Hoffman at this Time!!!
Sbc ❤
I remember John trying body varials years before anyone else
Witnessing history
Matt Hoffman will always be a hero and pioneer of vertical bmx. He was the modern day Evil Knievel, but on a bike. Just like E.K. inspired kids to go outside and try some rad stuff Hoffman inspired a whole new generation to do the same.
YEAH!
I miss this place and the 90s so bad ..those were the best days ever.. nothing for kids nowadays.. broken society
Start Dorkins and his massive hair 👍
